Trouble with Razer Blade 15 Adv (early 2021)

This is my first thread in this forum and I’m not quite sure if it fits here. So, my apologies in advance if it doesn’t.

Six months ago, I got myself a Razer Blade 15 Adv (early 2021). The thing is, I want to like this machine, but it really makes it hard for me. And that is mainly for two reasons.

(1) From day one, it regularly suffers from unexpected shutdowns or BSODs. It’s like when you’ve addressed one such problem, the next one is not long in coming.

(2) Even when the laptop runs smoothly, it underperforms on everyday tasks. Maybe my expectations are somewhat overblown here, but it doesn’t perform any better than my 10-year-old laptop (using photoshop, for example is a mess, no matter which performance settings you use).

As for Gaming, no complaints here. Maybe it is that the Razer Blade simply isn’t the best choice for more mundane uses. One major reason, why I bought it, is because I’m running checks on machine learning models for which I need good GPU integration. This, so far, seems to work well though.

My question is: Does anyone share these experiences, or can someone point me to tools or good tutorials which could help me with trying to optimize performance?

My first problem could of course be due to a hardware problem with my device. I discussed that with Razer Support, and they offered me to send the laptop in for inspection. The opportunity costs would be huge for me though, which is why this could only be a last resort.
