I'm new to razer and i have razer basilisk mouse and i want to use my mouse 4 and 5 buttons as macros in csgo but normal mouse 4 and 5 keys for everything else. Is it possible to use different macros or keys depending on if i am on csgo or not?

I know in the older Razer Tron I could have a profile auto activate when an assigned app was currently in focus. So, have the default profile for everything else and a profile just for that game. I've not messed too much with this type of setup yet with the Synapse 3 since it is on my laptop and I don't really game on that.
I think there was an app I could link to the default profile that triggered when I was on the windows desktop, maybe explorer.exe, so that when I exited the game the default auto reactivated.

Yes, it's possible.
Just create a new profile, set it up, and bind it to CS:GO only. So every time, when you'll run CS:GO it'll automatically switch to your cs:go profile. When you'll exit or minimise CS:GO it'll switch to your normal profile.
