Yeah, latest version doesn't seem to help the MacBook Pro Touchbar issues either.

    Damned fixes!

Synapse 1.65.8 (El Capitan), added the same bugs with modifier keys (Ctrl/CMD/Alt) from Sierra.

It is exactly for this reason that I have held up on updating both Sierra and any Synapse update.

Synapse worked perfectly for me with El Capitan and now the update is even breaking that?

Is anyone here from Razer that can/will update us on when we can reasonably expect a fix?

It's been since September that Sierra came out of beta and how many months later is it and things are still broken? Have we been abandoned by Razer?

While Sierra added a bunch of new issues to the mix, half the issues that people complain about here have been there for at least two years, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a quick fix.

I only actually noticed a problem when I got my Orbweaver and started to make macros and rebind keys. Up until then I had been using my Naga for 3-4 years and not had a single problem. Maybe I was lucky.

So I just confirmed that if you plug in an external keyboard you can get around the issue with Touchbar only keys. Also, I noticed that it appears you can configure the modifier keys through System Preferences separately for each USB input device.

And were you able to record any of those as either keypress macros, or just reassigning a key to something other than the default?

Nothing fixes the sticky Control-C....!! This is f*cking dumb razer.
  11. Ask RAZER directly about all this issues and they'll send you an automated logs. They can't properly gives us an answer.

Are you sending them bug reports?
  12. Just burned my Razor Deathadder mouse for keeping conflicting with Mac OS Sierra. Hurray for Trust GXT 152 for a cheap and working gaming experience [IMG]

Were you having the issues that others were before you updated? If not, just go back to the previous version of Synapse.

Or if there's a version you remember working for you, then try going back to that. I have a couple of the installers for previous builds. PM me.
  14. Thanks, but that is not possible for me. I had a windows (10) laptop that crashed (videocard died on me). Bought a Macbook with OS Sierra on it. And that is THE problem with Razer. Cannot go back to previous settings. Synapse keeps updating to latest version and the problems remain (mouse settings disappeard in snaps every time I wake up my Mac and I have to unplug and plug in the Razer to have it recognized).
The Trust however does not have these problems at all on my Mac. So I am glad to have burned my Razor ;-)

Not true. It will let you know that there's an update, and you can opt out. You can also install earlier versions of Synapse, and just choose not to update.
  16. Correct. But in my case:
    1. Synapse did perform great on my Windows 10 laptop, but that laptop died/crashed.
    2. I bought a (refurbished) Macbook Pro with Sierra on it, that I cannot re-install/replace with El-Capitan because I do not have the software or the skills.
    3. If I could install El-Capitan (or other non interfering MacOS), what version of synapse for Mac is working well and where do I get that?

I simply do not have the energy (already spent 13 hours investigating the isssue, including tracking this thread) to do all this, for the sake of a Razer Deathadder. And why would I when I have a Trust thats works great on Sierra? I have good memories with the Razor working on the Windows laptop. ;-)

While your 13 hours ended in your burning a Razer peripheral, 13 seconds of Google got me this link for El Capitan, which is also available on the Mac App Store. It's free. So that's the software.
It takes no skill at all to follow the installation instructions. You just keep pressing "next" and doing what they tell you.
As for an El Capitan version of Synapse that works well, we'll have to wait for more word from our El Cap brethren. @NecroZek hasn't replied to me, so I have no idea.

I'm glad you're having fun with Sierra. I have had more software crashes with this OS than with the previous four put together, and I'm not talking about Razer issues.

I currently have a Razer ouroboros mouse which was extremely expensive for a mouse and was assured that it worked great on mac. I am currently on Mac OS Sierra version 10.12.2 which is pretty far in and synapse is completely screwing up my mac and ive been trying to get the terrible razer software support people to help and its taking over a month and is still not fixed. Razer synapse is causing the following to occur on my macbook pro 15"

UI is glitching and has a white background instead of showing the proper looking Animations when changing profiles or when changing the DPI.

My trackpad is completely slowed down when using the mouse and to correct it I have to manually go into setting every time after I plug in the mouse to change the sensitivity of my trackpad back to a usable speed.

When using macros in league of legends that I have set to specific buttons on my mouse I am disturbed to say that it renders my keyboard unusable and have to switch screens and then back to league to be able to use my keyboard again.

Last but not least when trying to configure the different steps of DPI that I can change to using the preset buttons it automatically sets one to 0 dpi. Every single time I try to reconfigure the sensitivity or DPI I am left with one of the 5 options always being left at 0 dpi.

btw Ive even done a full factory reset on my macbook pro and it did nothing so im out of ideas... and I'm sick of waiting for Razer

Ive also used synapse and the same exact mouse on bootcamp running windows 10 and it works perfectly. so its just the mac side.

I am completely exasperated with the lack of any kind of acknowledgement from Razer support with the ongoing problems with Sierra.

Can anyone on here recommend an alternate gaming mouse that works with Sierra?

I am in the market for a new gaming mouse and Razer obviously does not want my business.

I'm sorry, but no, I'm not having ANY of the problems that you describe above. I'm not even having any sticky Control key issues, like others are talking about.
