So I have come to accept that Razer isn't going to be on top of updates, but is there any chance that they will send out an update other than major version changes? I'm not holding my breath on those either.
The Razer Phone and Phone 2 are dead to Razer. No chance on any further development on either phone for the forseeable. Absolute joke really but there we go, just goes to show that these companies really don't care too much for their customer base...
PSA: Just heard from a user on OpenBook that his HTC U11Life (AndoidOne, Android 9) just installed the May 2019 security patch. If dying HTC can do it...
Android One is very hands on with Google to even license plus Google works closely with those who decide to operate Android One. Android One is also pretty barebones AOSP with very little changes.
@Rox598 And will Razer support it's not barebone software? Will we see actually security updates? Or at least Android Q this year? Or is RP2 dead to Razer?
Maybe they could clarify that... such a shame, they build a solid phone and just mess the support like this? What are they rookie in business?
Disregard. Still February's patch but, with newer build and kernel. Singapore users have April build and kernel and the U.S. has the March edition.
For a minute I thought that hell has Frozen and Razer actually support theirs flagships. But thank you, world is still at balance, Razer don't give a care.
Singapore just got the pie update for their region but the changelog seems to have been changed to say it had the April security patch however this seems to be inaccurate as the system still shows February patch.
