  1. Hi,

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but after searching for weeks to find a solution to getting my Razer Phone's screen onto my TV I eventually I decided to order a variety of cables and see if I can get any to work.

The first cable I tried was a USB-C to HDMI cable advertised as 4k ready and perfect for the Galaxy S8. It worked immediately, I tried changing the resolution and the framerate on the phone and the screen continued to be displayed. If you don't mind it wired it's perfect. YouTube streamed flawlessly.

I'm excited after fearing it would never work. Have a nice day.

I am just curious, what would you use this feature for? I am glad it works as you never know when you might want to show your screen to others but still :)

My main use is on my headunit in the car. I've now got full screen mirroring for navigation, and not just the apps that Google have chosen as car safe.

But in everyday life it'll also get used to big screen media with ease. Having the skills and not needing them is better than needing them and not having them

This item also works and has a power delivery port so you can charge at the same time. We've used this in the past for our events when we needed to mirror to a screen.

I always get confused whether it's a USB-C 3.1 or a USB-C Lightning. Does one have backwards compatibility with the other?

I just purchased this item and it works great on 1080p. When I plugged it into a 4K display, it switches to 4K and it really lags and chugs along so it’s not usable.

Is there a way to force 1080p output with the usb-C dongle? Can this be added in a later update because it’s a nice feature to have.
