I'm wondering if any of you have done this. Does it cover the exhaust vents? Because I was thinking about doing a monitor and a closed setup with a BookArc from TwelveSouth. Would this cause cooling issues? I meant for it to help with the open airflow design.

lid.png I´m sometimes doing that with my ASUS G750 JX. It shouldn´t be an issue.
Just make sure to change the settings, so the PC doesn´t go to sleep when you close it.

Start -> Control Panel -> Power Options (Small/Large Icons)
Under "Preferred Plans" you will have a few options. Beside the active plans click "Change plan settings" -> Change advanced power settings -> Scroll down to and expand "Power buttons and lid" -> Under "Lid action" select "do nothing"

Here (at the very top - seems like my formatting skills vanished over night...) it is in German - Screenshot, don´t judge my color choice :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: (too lazy to change the language, but the description above should be ok)

The Blade and Book Arc combo is what excites me...

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. I haven't had any problems with my Blade closed and hooked up to my TV for some local Steam multiplayer stuff. Just make sure to adjust your power settings like Mapsle said.
