Join Cosplay SF and our team at RazerStore San Francisco on Saturday, August 27th from 6 PM to 8 PM dressed as your favorite video game character! Show off your costuming skills, be your character and meet other cosplayers throughout the evening. Cosplay judging will be based on two categories; Workmanship and Performance. Workmanship: Entries are judged on both the overall appearance of their cosplay and the quality of the construction of the costume. If an outfit includes a combination of created and purchased items, any purchased pieces must be disclosed to the judges. Judges have the exclusive ability to determine a costumes eligibility in the workmanship contest. Performance: Entries are judged on their representation and presence, i.e. how well they can act like their character and how well they present themselves in character. There will be one main winner chosen per category as well as honorable mentions or “shout outs.” This competition will not have a skit section for performance due to time and space constraints.
