Viper Mini sensor not working properly

I've had the mouse for almost a year now, worked perfectly until yesterday.
After I turn on the PC it takes some 15 to 20 minutes for the sensor to turn on, the rest of the mouse is responsive (I can click the buttons, they do what they should). I know the sensor isn't turning on since I checked with my phone camera (the mouse sensor is IR so the camera picks it up).
I have updated the mouse firmware, Synapse, changed the USB port, cleaned the sensor, cleaned the mat, cleaned the rest of the mouse since I realized that it got really dirty after I cleaned the sensor and mat and anything else I could think of and it still takes it ages to turn on.

Any help would be appreciated.
