My biggest issue on mobile devices is updates.
I guarantee to an mobile device maker that a device will be more successful if it updates often, monthly. With fixes and features. In the past Nexus was the bomb now it's Pixel.
I will always have a Nexus, er Pixel, now. Hoping Razer will succeed, let's not get to a bar start on great hardware with old software.
    Brand loyalty. Discuss.
It has been 3 months since the release of Oreo.
The key is also less bloatware, so... What is the holdup on 8.1.0 now?

The official announcement is that O will be shipped in Q1 2018.

First update for the phone was 4 or 5 days after release...
Pretty decent in my book. In IT you see all sorts of companies and how they handle updates.

As far as the OS change goes, I would bet when Oreo was released Razer was putting finishing touches on hardware api's.

I'm sure it's going to be one heck of an upgrade though.
