Wearable Nabu X working only when plugged

Hello, so basically the problem is that the band is only working when it is directly connected with the USB cable either to the PC or charger, when I disconnect it , it simply dies, I read already that it may be the battery and just need to throw it away and some others to reset it , but it is not working. If you can help me with this I would gladly appreciate it, thanks .
PS: if my memory does not fail me it's the 2015 model.

We're highly likely dealing with a battery that can no longer hold a charge. Since the device is already beyond our warranty coverage, your only option would be to get a replacement battery from a third-party manufacturer and DIY it.
