Webcam is glitchy and freezes

Hi all,

I got myself a Razer Blade 15" last year from Hong Kong. It's not something I use a lot(the camera) so I've been neglecting to look into it. Anyway, whenever I use the native camera app on Windows, it loads up just fine. But the picture is super glitchy and it freezes after about 3 seconds. When switching from picture to video it works again for a moment and then freezes. I took a look in my device manager and the only device I could find there that might be close is "USB Camera" but that driver it says is up to date. There don't seem to be any answers available after looking on Google either. Any ideas?

It could just be a corrupted driver issue so I'd try to reinstall the drivers for the USB Camera. Do send me a PM should you need further assistance.

I've tried uninstalling the USB camera driver in the device manager. It seems like the system automatically reinstalls this driver after only a few moments though and the camera doesn't work any better. Is there a source for replacement drivers?

I'll need the serial number of your laptop so I can look into driver options and model-specific fixes. Send that over via PM.

I looked up for my model number that there was a bios update from my 1.06 to 1.08 and it seems to be working fine now. Thanks a bunch!
