  1. So I want to hear what people think about the current Black Ops 4 PC BETA. So far I have read very mixed reviews from people saying its the best thing ever and that it will destroy PUBG and from people calling it the biggest garbage heap ever. So let me know what you guys think!

    Are you guys enjoying it?
Is it worth the price after BETA?
    Having any major issues?

Also I'm looking to add people to play along with and stream with. Looking to build a community of co-streamers and gamers!
Feel free to add me/follow on Twitch.tv/LoungeHouse to get in touch or shoot me an email at LoungeHouseTV@gmail.com to set up streams/games!
    Have a good one!

so I have not looked at any details for what the full Black Ops 4 game will include content wise, nor have I played the multiplayer beta at all. However, I did try the blackout beta this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Activision has done a good job lately at making shooters feel good on PC. When the first Destiny came out my roommate kept saying how it felt like it was meant for PC, and when Destiny 2 came out it felt SO good on PC! Blackout felt just as great. It handles very well, the gunplay feels really good, which is what I think it has over PubG. They also clearly put alot of thought into blackout, there are many ease of use and quality of life improvements that they made to the general formula of the game mode. Things like guns already being loaded when you pick them up, dropping is alot faster and easier, healing while moving, etcetera. The map is REALLY cool! All the major areas are either multiplayer maps from previous black ops games, or zombies maps from the same titles. The result of this is that as soon as you land in this massive map that you're playing for the first time, you are instantly comfortable moving around and navigating these spaces.

I really like the way the game feels and the attention to detail that was added. However, I do have a few gripes with it. My primary concern is armor. It takes, so, many, bullets, to kill people if they have any armor. So. Many. It can be really frustrating at times when you set up properly and get the drop on someone, but it takes half a clip to kill their armor and they drop you in 3 shots. I do think it is a simple matter of balance that can be fixed. My secondary concern is a lack of competitive potential. I love that there are things like the mystery box from zombies on the map that you can go to and get cool weapons from, however, when my partner and I are geared up, posted up, and get the drop on someone approaching our house who then proceeds to turn and one shot us both with the raygun, it feels bad.......

but generally speaking I like it alot, and would consider buying the game on PC purely for blackout and zombies.

please take a look at the Insider house rules, particularly the section about self promotion and keep them in mind in the future.

There's lots of trolls on PUBG's Twitter and on Steam saying that it'll take away the playerbase, I don't see it happening but time will tell. If anything I think Fortnite players would switch to Blackout if they wanted more realistic graphics and no building (but for $60...not sure?).

I actually disliked it for the exact reasons Destrok did like it.:joy:

There's also there's little/no recoil with guns, no leaning, vehicles switch to Third Person view when you drive them, and hitmarkers so you know where you're getting hit from.

In the end the games are quite different. If you like a more arcade style fast run and gun game you'll like Blackout, If you like a more sim style game with more tension and tactics you'll like PUBG.
