As an owner of a Razer Blade 14 (2016) QHD+ 512gb with GTX 1060, I guess I will respond to your list: 1. Smaller bezels (go for something like apple have done i the new macbook) Yes, smaller bezels would be nice, but I would NOT want smaller bezels if it means sacrificing the webcam like the dell XPS which has a webcam pointed directly into your chin/nose, you can call it a chincam. 2. Much more silent fans like 100% silent fans, if you are using it in high school or at work it is very annoying (thats one of the reasons i havent bought the new one yet) The fans ARE 100% silent when you are not playing games. You should try to see a 2017 blade in person if you can. 3. Possibly even cooler at your lap. It runs cool on the lap as long as you are not GAMING on your lap. My idle temps are in the 30s (Celsius). 4. SD card reader & magnetic charger (just as Linus said) SD reader is completely pointless unless you are a photographer, and besides USB C is the future. I'd rather have an additional USB C port over an SD card reader, you can always get an adapter for cheap. As for the magnetic charger I do agree, but I think apple might have a patent on magnetic charging. 5. More that 60HZ screen More than 60Hz is not needed on a GTX 1060, when I play GTA 5 I get 50-60fps avg. 6. Smaller input lag RAZER BLADE LATE 2016 40 MS Alienware 25 MS The "input lag" is simply a result of the type of screen, IPS is slower than OLED but it is more accurate out of the box. 7. possibly even a GTX 1070 if it will become possible in the next model. NOT SOMETHING WE REALLY NEED A GTX 1070 is not possible at the size of the blade, it would thermal throttle. 8. AND FOR GOD SAKE LESS FAILING BLADES MANY GOT PROBLEMS WITH THE SCREEN OR FANS NOISE Not so many blades "fail" and I've personally had a decent experience with customer service. I had coil whine when I got it so I sent it for RMA and they sent one back that was perfect. Edit: A list of things I would actually want: -Additional USB C port (on the left side) -Ability to charge at half speed through USB C (so that I can use a power bank to charge it) -Fingerprint reader on the power button (It would be amazing to be able to unlock with 1 tap) -Ambient light sensor (so that the keyboard lighting and screen change brightness automatically) -Chroma Razer logo on the back (RGB instead of only green) -Thermal system that doesn't have air intakes directly on the bottom (more like mac) -Metal hinge instead of plastic (more like mac) None of these things are really NEEDED, they would just be a cherry on top of an already great ice cream sundae.
