    Hey Insiders,

October is cherishing us all with exciting games releasing every week! Last Friday only, three potential GOTYs arrived in our hands :)

So, new or not, what games have you played this weekend?

On my side, I've started Assassin's Creed Origins and spent around 15h exploring Ancient Egypt - it is fascinating. Ubisoft is back with a strong opus and I've never felt so immersed in the saga since Ezio's storyline. The open world is more than convincing, Bayek is a charismatic main character and the story is great so far. I think the game has at least 30 more hours to deliver and I can't wait to see more!

I've been playing a lot of madden recently. Especially since the season started.

Played Origins as well, and I've been quite impressed. Game is beautiful. Also put quite some time into Destiny 2, which I would highly recommend. Runs so well on Pc.

  4. Yeah I've played it too earlier last week and it was pretty amazing! I didn't enjoy the first Destiny, so I was surprised to be hooked on the second one . I'm glad Bungie managed to do a great port on PC, even bringing rare features like HDR - it gives the game such a nice look.

For me, Destiny 2's strongest points are its soundtrack and well written characters like Cayde-6 or Failsafe. Overall, really recommending it too :)

This weekend I finished the story in Destiny 2, did the Nightfall, and hit 262 light. I also started Wolfenstein: The New Colossus tonight and have been having fun with that! I am only a few hours into Wolfenstein so far, but its already shaping up to be a great game.

I started to play Wolfenstein: The New Colossus too, it seems pretty fine and with a lot of free movement which means i won't finish it too soon, and also tried to get the halloween skins from Overwatch and opened as many boxes as i could. Though i'd give a try to the new Assassin's Creed as well.

    ah I love that game!

  9. The end of Destiny 2's campaign was so epic! I really want to see more story-focused content in the upcoming expansions. My next stop after Assassin's Creed will be Wolfenstein II too. It sure looks epic and considering how much fun I had on The New Order, this new one shouldn't be different :)

    Over the past week:
    Destiny 2
    Slender: The Arrival
    Abzu
    Shadow of Mordor

Funny you should mention the soundtrack, I've commented on it to family on multiple occasions already. I really think they did an excellent job on this one. As for Cayde and Failsafe, they are probably my two favorite NPC's in the entire game, they're both so darn entertaining and they really never get old. lol

It's a beautiful game, wonderful soundtrack, calming, peaceful and an interesting story to follow. It's not fast paced, full of action or offer any adrenaline but it's still a fantastic game that I recommend. :)

Edit: Oh, and it's currently at a really good price in one of the current Humble Bundles too.

  20. I've mostly been playing Grim Dawn - enjoying the Inquisitor class. I've got an Inquisitor/Nightblade build going dual pistol cold/lightning damage. It's been a fun time - he can pretty much walk through anything coming at him so far as I make my way through Act 1 in Elite.

Otherwise, I've dumped a handful of hours the past couple of weekends playing co-op in Dying Light with my younger brother. We've been having a blast.
