Razer is well known for their premium quality gaming products, and mostly cost a lot. What's the most expensive Razer product you have ever bought? Feel free to share.:wink_:

What product do you own? But for me it has to me my Blackwidow TE 2014! It costs around $120 CAD. It didn't actually cost as much as I thought, but it wasn't cheap. Overall I do like to a ton and think its 100% worth it! Razer products generally are priced in the middle of the pack and offer good value

The most expensive Razer item I've bought is my Ornata Chroma. It's also my first experience with a mechanical keyboard.
    Was not disappointed.

The most expensive gear I've owned is the Razer Deathadder (RM 309). Very expensive because of the weakening of Malaysian currency.

Currency converstion ;) But nice mouse eh? Deathadders are one of the better gaming mice money can buy, and is generally a safe bet ;)

    Uhh, probably my Leviathan?
I assume you're looking for just one single item and not a category like "I spent X amount on all my mice..." or something. hehehe

Same. My Leviathan, although I got it for 1/2 price at the last CES Fan Appreciation event. Even at 1/2 price it was still the most expensive so far. To be fair, I didn't pay for my BWCS, and I got my Deus Ex gear in the Deus Ex contest Razer just held.

Most expensive Razer item I am planning on getting: Razer Blade Pro. I am GOING to get a Windows laptop, so I might as well go for gold.[/QUOTE]

The most expensive Razer item I've bought was the Blackwidow X Chroma TE. I bought it for RM649 from the Razer website. Fortunately it came with a Kraken Mobile so I was satisfied :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

£130 on a Razer Black Widow ultimate 2013, worth every penny imo, home it continues to last me well :)

First Razer Blade late 2016 QHD (in January 2017, 2400€), second Razer Blade QHD+ 2015 (in April 2016 for 1150€, second hand), and Razer Edge Pro and its gamepad+dock (in October 2015 for 750€, second hand), and waiting for Blade 14 UHD, because my late 2016 was not good enough for me as Blade 2015 laptops replacement. Other razer peripherals i bought new but only if their price above 40% off, like on CES appreciation Sale, or Amazon sale etc;)

I'd say the kraken forged although I bought it for 99 instead of 299€
If we are talking about actual money spent it's the razer turret

the ornata is not mechanical though

Yes it is... I'm pretty sure all keyboard from Razer are mechanical, aren't they? If you can only choose between green, orange or yellow switches, all 3 of those are mechanical. ornata.png
It's a cross between membrane and mechanical. But it's still mechanical.

I have to say my Leviathan with the Siren coming in a close second. And I keep on adding as I get money so this could change in the future.

I bought a BWCS at 50% CES 3 years ago, 85 euros, followed by €80 for the blackshark at 50% CES sale 2 years ago. The most expensive item I own is the Seiren Pro, which I won :D.
I might at some point get a Blade Stealth, or a leviathan v2 if it comes out and turns out nice. Then one of these will be the most expensive item :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No it's still membrane it just has a mechanism that gives a 'mechanical' or clicky feel.

if you take off one keycap you can clearly see it's not mechanical

it has a rubber dome, that touches a some sort of conductor
the clicky noise only comes from a tiny metal part that emulates a real switch
(I noticed that you can change the intensity of the noise by how much it is strechted out)

a real mechanical switch doesn't have a rubber dome but an actual mech. switch with a spring , a moving plastic body and some sort of other metal part which both determines the actuation force and how the switch feels
it's hard to explain as my english is not the best but there are plenty of gifs that show how it works

that's also the reason why the ornata is cheaper, I mean it is still more expensive than other membrane keyboards but cheaper than the blackwidow

that picture shows it pretty good:
