My favorite it was probably band/choir because I've always loved music. I played flute and piano and was quite passionate about singing. However, when it comes to core classes I'd probably have to vote for literature. The classics hold a very special place for me, especially things such as The Divine Comedy, Shakespear, Canterbury Tales, Edgar Allen Poe... far too many things I loved reading in school to list!!

Even now when I just need a break from people the one place I go to find my happy place is in a good book. I have many, many overflowing bookshelves in my loft upstairs as well as 760 books in my Nook app on my tablet. Chances are if I'm not gaming, I'm reading. If I really love what I'm reading then I'll go through stories with 300-450 pages very quickly - as in finishing entire series' of 5-8 books over a weekend. Love, love, love my books!!

Mathematics and science, because this 2 subject always amaze me one way or the other. I am also very curious about theories and numbers.

  7. "Standable" isn't a dictionary word, but I'd imagine most native speakers would understand what you meant. A good alternative would be "only PE was bearable", or you could say "PE was the only class I could stand".

I hated PE at school, the only time I ever had enthusiasm for it was when we did cross country running. The route was outside the school grounds, and once we got to be third years it was unsupervised. There was a gang of about five of us who would jog out of the school gates, go round the corner, sit in the woods smoking cigarettes for an hour, then jog back in when everyone else was coming back.

In high school, my favorite classes were music classes, physical education classes and technical skills classes. So pretty much all the electives. Of all the core classes, I enjoyed history the most. Learning about the past and how the government works are good things to know. I also took AP Computer Science which is an introductory programming class that uses Java. That class was really intriguing and fun despite all the difficult projects and tests.

    NONE OF THEM!

I come from a government school in some shitty country where students are not inspired to gain cognitive skills, but rather learn how to follow orders without question, memorizing useless information and was struck with shit tons of disciplinary rules. Failure to adhere to their "standards" can result in public caning, and physical punishment. The schools have no air conditioning despite being in a tropical country, the teachers are all underpaid and grumpy as fuck, and the bullies are sickening!

Man, I envy the education most people have in developed countries.

However, I really loved university (despite hating a large portion of the students there). I studied Diploma in Computer Sciences and I enjoyed intro to C++, Java, mobile programming, project development, and sometimes technopreneurship classes. University was heaven to me despite the large amount of projects and assignments I have to rush everyday. The library in my university had a coffee bar and I ended up camping in the library for the entire day. Best student life ever.

I would have to say film study was my favorite class I took in high school. We watched movies and every now and then had to write a short paper about it.
