I really like 300 too, but can't go watch it without meet the spartans. It's so hilariously stupid, I love it.

The Mechanic. It is a movie where murder case are planned so well before hand.

I liked the first WOW movie better than LOTR original poster. I would say for recent films that is my favorite. As for best movies ever ...

Platoon, The Blair Witch Project, The Sixth Sense, Titanic , etc.

In regards to Platoon I used to always say that was my favorite movie as I watched it 15 or 16 times. Anyway hard to pick one as a favorite movie as different movies do different things for me so ....

Have to go with the Truman show. Great movie great acting by Jim Carrey and great commentary on society by the film itself.

I've wanted to watch that again for a while. It was one of the films I had to study in high school so naturally any enjoyment of it was soiled by over-analysis, but it's been long enough now that I think I can watch it objectively and enjoy it :) Probably one of Carrey's better films if I remember right

Oh yes, easily an oscar worthy performance on his part. Unfortunately in the same year dropped films like "Saving Private Ryan" so no oscar for Jim

Completely random, and dated, but since it has a bit of a sci-fi edge, has anybody else seen "Somewhere In Time"?

That and the fact that he wasn't nominated. Good dramatic role for Jim, but definitely not Oscar-worthy. Not to mention that it was the year of "Gods and Monsters", "Saving Private Ryan" "Life is Beautiful", "What Dreams May Come", "American History X".
Kate Beckinsale in tight leather. That's what it is. All kidding aside, you better go watch some of that soon - a new one is coming out. Vampires v. Werewolves but done way better than Twilight.

And I wouldn't mind a bit if you said, "I have no idea what Twilight is."

I like the Harry Potter movies... Can't wait for the new one!

The Dark Knight is probably the best movie ever made in my opinion

Can't decide between Shrek 3 and the Bee Movie, Star War - a phantom menace was also great

Wow...you must really enjoy watching terrible films ironically or something :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I won't lie, I enjoyed the Bee film, but it was a kind of masochistic joy accompanied by great perplexion, confusion and the occasional joke that was actually funny.

I enjoyed the Phantom Menace when I was younger, but I literally only watched the end scenes of it as they were the only bits which interested me. The choreography of the lightsaber fight was pretty slick!
