Just wish i could customise my keys though, you got anything to correct them? for the most part they're fine but some keys don't match which is annoying as a software engineer lol
Amazing! Got this working on Catalina with my Huntsman Elite and Viper Ultimate. Goliathus mousepad isn't detected though. Maybe in the future it will be added.

Thanks for the tip!

If you have temporary access to a windows computer you can setup Synapse 3 on it and set your key binds. When you unplug it the binds and profiles are saved, just not lighting. Most functions are available and the ones that aren't supported offline give a notice "Synapse required".

What keys you want to change? If it is command, option, control. Then you can change it on mac preference setting.
This works on my MacBook Pro, but the dock is doing it's own thing, cycling through colors. Is there any way to get it to match up to the mouse, please? If I can get that done, I'll be set until I build my first ITX PC later next year. Thanks!

Hi, i'm one of the developers. We've just updated the app so that the dock's color should change accordingly as well. Please give it a go.
I deleted the App and downloaded 2.1 I believe. There seems to be no control over the dock colors. The dock is slowly sequencing through the spectrum of colors while the mouse responds to what you ask of it from your drop down in the upper menu bar. The dock is not listening.
Again, this morning, I deleted/uninstalled all Razer software.... downloaded 0.2.1 and tried it again. The dock has not changed behavior. It is on a factory set color cycle that is slowely and gradually changing through the color spectrum. Settings on this App are not changing the dock at all. The only time the dock colors stop is when the laptop is sleeping, then the dock colors turn off entirely.

Hi Bertram. It seems like only the Razer Basilik is supported at the moment for dock colour changes. Could you indicate what model mouse you have?
I have a Razer Viper Ultimate wireless with dock. Your article listed this mouse as being supported.

That's only for the mouse not the dock unfortunately. We may update it in the future.

Why would you not think about the dock? Why would we want the dock flashing all colors of the rainbow in front of us while we configure only the mouse? Is this Asian logic?

I have an update submitted to the project that supports the Viper Ultimate dock. Hopefully it will be included in a release sometime soon.
Does it support for Razer Basilisk X Hyper Speed? Can it use for customise the buttons?
Damn. I spend 60€ for that rgb extended mouse matt because off the razer-phillipshue friendship and there is even a freaking MAC IN THE OWNERS MANUEL!! And its stuck in rainbow mode.. damn Razer thats no good first time user experience. I Game on console so for now i avoid Razer ps4 peripherals

I edit feature films with razer on mac and would LOVE to recommend it to my colleagues in film and TV. The hardware, imo, is the best out there. But we need synapse 3 for Mac! Please get this out so I can stop sending my fellow editors to Logitech! I'm increasingly tempted to switch myself but am still holding out hope that you will listen to your customer base.

Exactly! If you'll indulge me, here's what I have to say as a filmmaker...

I was wondering why I had never heard of Razer before. It's because its products are not compatible with Macs. I'm a filmmaker in LA and have resided in the Apple ecosystem for many, many years thanks to Avid and Final Cut. I recently upgraded my workstation with Hue Play lights and read about Hue's partnership with Razer. How cool to have an RGB keyboard, I thought, that syncs with the Hues!
It turns out it was a good thing my keyboard pick -- the Huntsman Mercury -- has been out of stock, or I'd be bummed. The Goliathus Extended mouse mat I ordered in the meantime just arrived today, and I was looking forward to introducing it to the Hues. But the Synapse 3 for Mac I downloaded and installed won't, or can't, detect it. After some troubleshooting, I made my way here and found out why: it's not meant to be detected on a Mac. Silly me, I just assumed...

The mat feels responsive, and its RGB LED illuminates with rotating colors when I plug in its USB, so it's a keeper. But like the other Mac users on this thread, I find myself scratching my head. I have no doubt Apple can be a demanding and challenging collaborator. I am frequently frustrated by its closed source business model that forces entire workflows into its precise, limited, and, frankly, precious domain. But for better or worse, it has cornered the creative market, especially cinematic film and video, and the people who make them. And while that may not seem to matter today to a company like Razer dedicated to the ongoing evolution of gaming, everything I know about the future of my world and the gaming world says it will matter sooner rather than later. As gaming enhances its storytelling quotient and cinema grows more personalized and interactive, the two will merge. Razer is a unique company with cutting edge products. It can and should facilitate a coming together, not discourage it.

Nothing has had a more significant impact on the quality of my work, life, and productivity than the one-two punch of the PowerMac PowerPC G5 and Final Cut Pro 4-7. Together, they democratized the means of post-production and liberated young filmmakers like me. Gaming's future promises to be at least as portentous. I encourage Razer to contemplate its 20-year, 50-year vision of our world in which virtually every part of life is infused with aspects of gaming yet to be. Would supporting OSX help or hinder Razer's journey forward?

Same here. Was looking forward to syncing my mouse mat with my Hues.
When it comes to the DPI settings im guessing the software https://github.com/1kc/razer-macos does not have any support - only colors? This is a concern unless the DPI from razer synapse 3 is also internally saved from windows when porting the mouse back over to the Mac. Can anyone speak to how they change their DPI on the Mac with a Razer mouse? Trying to make a decision before purchasing these razer products.
I'm an artist and I've been using a Tartarus keypad. The ability to setup shortcuts and macros in synapse has totally changed my life, and the ability to automatically switch profiles between programs was phenomenal. Now I'm going to have to return it if Razer isn't going to support macOS anymore. I'll have to find a different solution.
