Where are the Chroma profiles stored?

Hey guys,

i really love Razers Hardware but at the moment i'm stuck with my macbook. I'm thinking of buying a Huntsman Elite whcih is not supported by synapse 2. So there is no way of my macbook supporting chroma and stuff like that.

But i have a windows Partition on my Mac, is it possible to create a profile there and save it on the huntsman so when boot mac os the profile is still active?

If so, it would be no problem for me to use a PC-Keyboard on my Macbook.

Greets,

The lighting profiles arent stored on the keyboard itself and are linked to your account on Synapse 3. If you dont have Synapse running or you are on Mac the lighting will default to spectrum cycling or whatever the default lighting of the Hunstman is, for my Ornata its the wave effect but without any speed control.

Also just having the lighting profile on your PC while you have booted up MacOS wont work since Synapse needs to be running in order to have custom lighting profiles active.
Thanks for the answer. I think i will wait with upgrading my Keyboard, Mouse and Mouspad until i got a new Laptop, which will not be a mac.

Hello. If you buy keybord like Huntsman elite that have on-board memory yes you can save your profiles on keybord it-self but you must know few things before first is to save profiles you must first install synapse 3 and create profile then set it up and save on keybord. Some people say that light works but only static effect. All keybinds and changes you made for keybord it self will work perfect and you can have five profiles saved on keybord and switch them via keybord.

How do you save profiles on the keyboard because I have the new black widow chroma that has stored cloud and when I tried to do so, it didn’t save my rainbow wave effect.

When you connect keybord or mouse that have build-in on-board storage and you have synapse 4 on your pc installed then when you open device settings on right side of profile name you have little storage icon just click and on right side new windows will appear where you can drag&drop your profiles to save on device itself.

I’ve tried that numerous of times, however the profiles don’t save on the memory of my keyboard when I plug it in to a device that doesn’t have synapse, even tho it says it does. I also try to switch between profiles on the device that doesn’t have synapse and it goes back to spectrum lighting. The profile just doesn’t save even it says it does

Becose on-board memory just store your settings for device and chroma lithing is not supported so it dont save on device it self. If you want to mange the chroma you must have synapse open.
