Sooo, I know like some others out there, there are some games you just have some fond nostalgic memories of. For some people it could date back to pong, or maybe even commodore 64's to newer games on systems like N64 etc, etc ....

So here's the question, if you could convince any company to remake or remaster a game from your past that you enjoyed which would it be. I myself go for a Primal Rage remake (I know its basically just a copy MK with Dinos and Beasts, but it was still fun watching the finishers and fatalities in it as much as MK's).

I would definitely go with The 7th Guest and the 11th Hour. Those two are still favorites of mine and I have them on Steam to play even now. The graphics are so bad now, but in the day they were the cutting edge! Thing is, the story is still a good one and the puzzles were outstanding. These days when people go back to play it (steam reviews) they complain about how bad it looks, how clunky it feels and oftentimes they say that the puzzles are too hard. Man, I just LOVE the puzzles in those two games. lol :)

I never heard of them, but back then I would have been about 4 or 5, so my mom prolly wouldn't have allowed it being as over caring as she was, lol wasn't even allowed to watch simpsons back then XD

Max Payne and Max Payne: The Fall of Max Payne are both games i feel deserves the remake/remaster. Definitely a game I played alot when I was a kid. Not sure if it was the first video game to introduce bullet time. I dig the dark story line and comic strip cut scenes and have replayed Max Payne 2 multiple times. You can say the game was depressingly good :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

My only requests aren't for a remake but instead, I'd love to have a new Megaman or Castlevania game that's GOOD. kthxbye.

Ecco the Dolphin from Sega Dreamcast. I can only dream of what it would look like with today's graphics.

My buddy had a commodore 64, we played the football game where you have to pick the last pass defense to stop all pass plays. One of the first game glitches.

    My List:

    Dune The Battle For Arrakis

    Mike Tyson's Punch Out

    Tecmo Bowl

Heroes 3 - I know there is HD version, but as I heard it's crap (only main game revamped, not expansions...), and the newer versions of Heroes are too childish...
Unreal Tournament '99 - ah, the memories...
Dungeon keeper 2 - was funny game

RTCW: Enemy Territory - spend few years playing it... good old times.
Golden Axe - great hack'n'slash game.
    Soldier of Fortune :)

So much memories with ET. My favorite class was the medic lol, jumping around reviving teammates by poking them with a needle.

I think Enemy Territory was one of the OGs of "push-the-cart"/"escort" game mode, is there any other game before this that had a similar mode?

Oh yes! Along with Myst and D. Great old games that look so shabby by modern standards.
I only played the Megadrive version, but I agree it could be made so much better now.
I loved that game on Megadrive and Amiga.

One of my all-time favourites has already had the remaster treatment I was waiting for, Wonderboy: The Dragon's Trap has had a fantastic facelift with identical gameplay and the option to choose HD or Retro graphics or sounds.

Mine was Field Ops & Medic too :) I don't remember if any other FPS game had such mode before. One of my favorites (and original) map was Goldrush (1st push the tank, then load gold on truck, push the truck) :D

ETPro mod it's preety dead now, but as far as I know, there are few people wanting to ressurect ET - it's called ET: Legacy, but didn't played it yet. Maybe I'll try this week.

When Quake Live was released I heared some rumors, that if QL will be popular, they'll make something similar with EnemyTerritory, but unfortunatelly it never happened.

MacCricket from 1989, nothing has ever come close to this as a cricket game. Still have the original on 3.5" floppy disc and the manual. System Requirements: 512K or more memory and at least 128K ROM. How times have changed. lol

I'm not sure you were even born yet, they released in 1993 and 1995. lol :)

Maybe like Abzu, that would be cool.

I'm on board with this one! I loved all of the Unreal Tournament games, both the single player stories and the muti-player battles.

Ah yes, I did love playing Myst back in the day!

You're not kidding!! I remember those days well.

Also, I think I'd add a new, beautiful, remastered version of the OLD Kings Quest games, specifically Kings Quest (1983) through Kings Quest: The Perils of Rosella (1988).

I'd like to see a new Toy Commander of Dreamcast, though it was a console game. That was one of my best childhood game.
