Get a Kraken 7.1 V2, since the ManO'War will break because of the poor headband design.

only the wireless version is chroma, the wired 7.1 is not, so keep that in mind
the overwatch version looks great, but I prefer more neutral looks since it wouldn't fit my setup

also a point, you have to be extremly careful with the MoW , I always leave mine on the desk, since I fear it might break if I throw it in a bag

As a general rule of thumb regarding headsets and earphones, always keep them in some kind of case. It helps to preserve the headset and ensure that drops and bumps don't damage the device.

Good choice! I personally own the Kraken 7.1 v2. Its has great audio quality and superb comfort.

yeah. but there is really no way I'm ever going to find a case for the mow, i mean it is huge and it doesn't fold, also the top band is very fragile especially when it comes to pressure from the sides, just like the joints
so basically I would have to use some sort of cushioned suitcase they normally put drones in it :D

Chroma! Not a big fan of versions designed for specific games.

The band material for the Razer ManO'War was chosen specifically to allow for additional flexion and not for it to break intentionally. If anyone has any issues with these do raise this to our support team to investigate.

Maybe a plastic container with copious amounts of bubble wrap would work.

Well of course it wasn't made to break intentionally, but it does. That's a design flaw which you should address by making the material stronger, or by having more support joints.

Sadly, I will not be purchasing the ManO'War until I hear that Razer has officially upgraded the headband.

Imo the problem isn't the band itself, but these little plastic pieces on the sides from the top
Ofc it's not as dramatic as some people say, but compared to the kraken v2 it is much more likely to break

I haven't used the Overwatch Man'o'War headphones, but I have a friend who purchased them because his favorite color is orange and he wants everything around his system to be orange. So far, he absolutely LOVES them! He hasn't had any issues with durability and his desk isn't exactly the most tidy. I suspect his headphones would be in far more danger of damage than something on (as an example) my desk because I use a headphone stand and keep everything organized. But, he's not had any issues. I can at least say that he sounds great when we use voice chat. lol
