So my Kraken Pro (V1) got old now, used it for 3 years now and I'm pretty happy, although the ear cushions ripped apart and the cover on the top of the headset began to fall off. Now I think it's time for a change. I am mainly satisfied by the Man O'Wars' reviews, but I want to know the rest of the community's opinion: what's your recommendation for a new headset?

Honestly I have used or still own (a couple have broken because of roommates walking away from their computers and not realizing they are tethered to their desk by my razer headsets :crying_cat_face:) all but 2 of their headsets and I LOVE the Razer Adaro Wireless headset. It's bluetooth so I had to grab a usb adapter to use with it but that headset combined with a Seiren for comms is a dream come true. The fact that it's wireless really helps comfort since that cord isn't rubbing on my shirt and making scratching noises I can hear clearly (as with wired headsets) and I can also get up and walk away after long hours of gaming (the battery is excellent) and not take my whole computer with me! As far as wired headsets go I'm honestly a bigger fan of the carcharias but it is kind of old... If I really had to pick a wired headset I'd probably go with the Kraken Pro V2 just because the construction is solid and I worry about that kind of thing.

  3. The quality of Razer products atm isn't very well, it's not as bad as what you described with the Tritton but it's not far off. If I was to advise a headset for you it would be a Sound Blaster Recon 3D, it was the best headset (And the longest lasting one) I've had to date.
I currently use a Logitech 430 headset because it's a bit cheaper for me to purchase one. But the next headset I will buy will be another Siberia V2 as it's simply the best headset I've ever had.

This is just not the case... the razer gear quality is insane. They've got memory foam on their latest headset and plush leather! My adaro headset is ridiculously strong too - I've had it for years.

I have had a Razer headset ever since i started gaming on pc (which was about 7 years ago?) i have never had an issue with their Kraken line up, i recently made the switch from Kraken 7.1 to the new Kraken Pro. I have to say i have the unfair advantage on the battleground with this headset, for a low ish price point you are getting a deep, clear and balanced sound with a super comfy lightweight headband. Not to mention that the cushions are hell soft as well!

Yes granted that sometimes Razer quality is great, like for the Nabu 2015-_-but this is because this is a field that Razer is not specialized in. In their specialized fields they are without a doubt the best, im talking about things such as: Mice, Keyboards, Headsets Etc. I am constantly recommending Razer products to my friends because thy truly are worth the money.

Personally I would take ManO'War to have a wireless headset. I'm a really addicted to have wireless peripherals

I would go with an Adaro or the new Thresher Ultimate if you want a wireless headset. The MoW has a bit of an issue with the headband and the little adapter is difficult to keep track of if you're on the go.

Will the Thresher Ultimate work with a PC?

Yeah, either version will have a switch that enables it to work for PC!
