I just upgraded to the blackwidow elite from a chroma ornata. Honestly, I like the actuation and response time of the green switches but the OEM key profile is sooooo tall. I really wish Razer sold low/medium profile key cap replacements. I am struggling to type on these skyscraper keys.

Currently using a Black Widow chroma V2, very nice to type on. However, as soon as Razer announce the Huntsman V2 Pro (surely I’m not the only one expecting this?) I’ll be snapping one up.

For me the BlackWidow Elite with orange switches has always been perfect. No too loud, not too sensitive. I tried yellows for about a year on a tenkey-less BlackWidow v2, it was a nightmare of constant typos. As I work in a shared area both at home and in the office, anything with greens are off the table and don't even talk about purples. I truly love the feel and sound of the orange switch, so that's what I'm sticking with. If it gets discontinued I guess I'm switching brands to something with Cherry MX browns.

That would be a shame, because the BlackWidow Elite is possibly the best keyboard I've ever owned. It is amazingly responsive, has a nice short actuation distance and everything about it feels solid. I'm sure the new version is the same. Maybe they'll bring an orange version to market, but if not I guess I'm skipping this edition.
