I'm looking for a good Razer fps mouse. I narrowed it down to Deathadder Chroma and Mamba Tournament edition. I had decided on the deathadder seeing as how it apperantly has a better sensor, but after looking at some reviews for it (On amazon) I saw a lot of people talking about glitches, and short life spans for the mouse. Does the Mamba TE have issues llike this too? Or is it just a small amount of people with this problem? What do you guys think, should I go for the Mamba, and have a slightly less good sensor, but a cooler look, and maybe less glitches, or should I go for the deathadder, and hope it works out?

From what I remember both of them are equally good it's just the twin sensors are prone to damage. So i would go with either based on ergonomics.

If you're gonna get a Deathadder, get the Elite! It's (slightly) cheaper than the Chroma (for some reason) and pretty much an upgraded version. And if you want an FPS mouse get a Deathadder. There's no built-in acceleration whats-who-ever unlike with most other mice, including the Mamba, that shit'll mess up your aim in games like CSGO xD

    I agree with that.
Nevertheless in relation to your question I would grab the Mamba TE. :)
  5. Go deathadder....I had the same decision when I was looking around for a mouse and I went with the deathadder for ergonomics purposes. It was more comfortable when I tried the two out.
As for reliability....well, either of them could fail. But I don't think either of them have major issues. The majority of their users have few issues.

idk about what issues the deathadder have. Mine's still going strong after 5 years. Only recently the infamous deathadder doubleclicking came to haunt me

Mamba, and both have 5G 16,000 Dps sensors, and mamba has more customizations, buttons etc. plus it also looks better

Yeah they both have equal dpi and stuff, but from what I saw the Deathadder had a optical sensor where the Mamba had a lase sensor, and from whatI saw the optical is better

If you want to play FPS, DeathAdder Elite, hands down. The new custom optical sensor is a beast. There's no reason to go with the older DeathAdder Chroma because the Elite is the successor, especially because they are the same price.

If you are worried about problems, the Mamba has decidedly more issues than the DeathAdder. DeathAdder is a super reliable mouse. Where the Mamba shines is the badass lightstrip design and its wireless capability. Mamba is designed to be a wireless mouse so that's it's main advantage.
