Hello, I am DatzZooIsSwag. I am new to all of this Razer stuff, and I am quite lost currently. Maybe y'all could shed some light on my predicament.

I am looking for a new mouse, mainly for the use of Minecraft/Minecraft PvP and Terraria gameplay. I want a mouse that has a great feel and ergonomics, performs well on the games above, and looks sick (preferably chroma). I have spent some time researching options and have come across the Mamba chroma tournament edition, and the DeathAdder Chroma 2013 (I believe).

If any of you would like to help me make a decision, or provide suggestions or input, that would be greatly appreciated.

    Merry Christmas!

I don't know much about the other mouse, but the reason why I really like deathadder( I had the blue version, green, and trying to get the chroma version) is the size of the mouse is just right for my hand, not too small, nor too big, it is durable and it has all the function I need( left/right click). The blue 1 last for around 7 years and the only issue I had with it after all this time is a layer of "plastic" was coming off and leaving a strange black spot on my mouse.

But everyone has their own preference, so you should try them if you know some of your friends have them. That would be the best advice.

Maybe a Naga. Naga Chroma (newer) and Naga Epic Chroma exist for now (if we filter out other non-Chroma Nagas). I would reccomend it becouse you have those 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 buttons in Minecraft, which would be at access of you thumb, so you wouldn't need to move your hand from WASD part of the keyboard.

If you don't want to have buttons on your mouse like half of a keyboard , i advise Mamba.

Thats right. the deathadder fits most players' hands nicely, its the classic mouse to play with. In that case you might want to go with the chroma. My deathadder (back in 2005) lasted for about six years. After some time, it seems the layer of the mouse became sticky, maybe cause i stopped cleaning it after a few years, but the functionality of the mouse remains good.

of course, both the deathadder and the mamba have two accessible buttons on the left side of the mouse (right-handed edition), with some inaccessible during tense gameplay buttons elsewhere. the mamba i would think is somewhat an upgrade of the deathadder but comes with an increased price tag as well. depending on your budget, see which you can afford.

If you're playing games without the need of many macro buttons, go for one of these, otherwise i would recommend the naga (normal/epic chroma?) or naga hex.

Thank you all for your input. I think I am going to go with the Mamba.

  9. Death Adder. Simple design, not too many buttons, comfortable, wired, less expensive. It's just a good all around mouse, but if you want a specific feature this one doesn't have, then look for a different mouse that does. It's basically a no frills gaming mouse.

Well, then which is better for minecraft/minecraft pvp and terraria gameplay? The mamba or DeathAdder?

I am going to go with the mamba. I went to the store and I felt it, and it felt great on my hand, plus, it's DPI is crazy, and I asked a worker and he said that the mamba is an improved, upper-scale mouse than the deathadder.
