Why does Razer refuse to explain why synapse 3 is still in beta

I'm really just done with this software (and probably razer too).

i have had issues with it since day one. Support is the most useless avenue ever unless you want to RMA your broken product. The latest issue is that i literally cant see/pick any games/exe's to link to profiles. this is right after a fresh format of windows too! I wont even go into all the random crashes, and issues with keys sticking randomly lol.

What i really want to know: WTF is the plan with this software?!?!? its been in beta for years, and is still an unstable dumpster fire. its like there is ONE computer science intern developing it with no road map, or coherent direction. Half of my peripherals work in 3 but i have to install an old version for my slightly older peripherals? how have all legacy devices not been added yet!? The interface is clunky, confusing and ridiculously simplistic (in a bad way). is this thing even getting patched anymore? Its a joke that we pay a premium for devices, and they dont work properly because of this stunted software.

I used to be super into razer like 7-8 years ago, but this software has completely ruined the entire experience. ive already started moving to steel series, and will probably continue down that path once the razer stuff eventually fails completely.

I just want an honest explanation why this software has been in beta so long. the lack of communication on this from razer is the most frustrating part of all of this.

Why is Razer Synapse 3 in BETA?
Razer Synapse 3 will remain in beta while we continually add support for legacy devices and gather feedback from the community about new feature set, UI and until we reach the final state. However, the software still goes through the same testing rigors as Synapse 2.0 (and more) and is not expected to be error-prone or act erratically. If you encounter any bugs with the software, please report them using the Beta Feedback button on the dashboard or via customer support as seen here.

Gmail launched 2004 as beta and exited beta in 2009. Synapse 2 launched in 2012 i believe also as beta idk when it exited beta but I know since Blade 14 2015 it wasn’t Beta. Synapse 3 launched in 2017 open beta, first I saw on Blade 2018 in beta version, yes it is “years“ though to be more correct 2 years, just give them time.

Yes, good luck with other brands. You got also my attention since apparently you claimed anything around this forum.
FYI I can handle Synapse 3 with all its bugs but it doesn’t hold at least my Systems performance like MSI dragon center, and Alienware command center with full of bugs, not mentioned Gigabyte with full of bloatware. They’re already non Beta version. It’s better putting beta name for lowering expectations then full versions with tons issues and bugs.

Speculation, especially when it is negative and untrue, tend to incite flaming and trolling – if an issue deserves an official word, it will be communicated. Baseless speculation and the encouraging of such conversations is prohibited.

Non-constructive posting can also include threads that are created demanding specific answers/dates/results that exclude public participation e.g., “When are winners announced?,” “When is Feature X arriving?” Outside from official Razer staff communications, there is no way for the public to contribute to these non-constructive and speculative conversations in a meaningful manner. Such threads will be moderated accordingly.
