I've been buying almost every single Razer blade since it first came out ages ago. Been changing laptop every 2years and looking at Dell's 240w slim charger makes me think Razer is being chased out by competitors on portable slim products. They really needs to make slimmer lighter laptop charger given they prioritize slim and portable products. I'm sure Razer fanboys including myself would make a purchase.. Just saying

Great idea, not impossible but it’ll cost arm and legs since 130watt Gan costs nearly 200 bucks already. And i won’t compare to dell power brick, it’s not gaming laptops on this category you want better protection ac adapter for supply the power without thermal problem. They did on old blade 14, smallest power brick on the category but ended up with thermal issues like melted cable or ac adapter for running always hot, it could be solved by Gan technology but we’ve still to wait more than current 100 watt power delivery (the tech is coming soon with usb C 2.1 up to 240 watt technology)

dell chargers for alienware x15, at 240w for upto 3070 which is direct competitor since they slimmed down their laptops. I think Gan really helps with charger thermals and to be honest, razer fanboys like myself will just open wallets for charger that cost like 350usd I don't know. Razers never for cost efficiency anyway I wish they make one and they should considering how much extra money they can make 😢

I see, however that Dell charger for Alienware x15/17 240 watt still bigger bulkier compared to 230 watt blade charger, it’s around under 700gr vs 800gr plus and dimension is also bigger when I’m not wrong. But again we’ve to wait above mentioned usb C 2.1 240 watt technology being adapted on any laptops usb C/thunderbolt technology, atm it’s only tech announcement hopefully we’ll see this thing sooner.
