    Hi!
I'm trying to stay calm about this, but this problem has bothered me for months now.. Especially in the recent times, so what the problem might be you ask? Well to be exact, syncing on Razer synapse 2..

Details of it: Firstly I really thought that I'm having a problem with my chrome which was hella annoying because it didn't make sense on why it was doing what it was.. And it basically was MUCH MUCH lower volume than it should be, it seemed that any video that I played was on mostly 50% even tho everything was 100%, I tried out every option I could on looking at why it is the way it is until I tried out that my monitor sound has a lot more than what my headset has in the volume mixer (meaning the headset reaches only half of the sound with the green bar while being on 100% and the other speaker reaches full green bar while being a 100%) So I figured, maybe it's something with Razer but WHAT.. And here i am with my own answer to my question except that i want to know why it is the way it is.. So basically what the problem was that, if I do not login into the Razer program (meaning if I don't have a stable internet connect) I just couldn't get the audio quality that I should when it's logged in, I don't know why or how it's a good decision to sync settings from the cloud instead of saving to a computer in case of having an internet outage but it's really retarded... So once I logged onto my account with Razer synapse 2 on my PC, everything went back to normal..

So the question that I'm having is, WHY IS IT LIKE THIS ?! Why couldn't razer simply store the required information for the offline use on the computer instead of using online syncing for the full use?!

    Greetings!

I am sorry dear razer staff, but i have to agree. I do not personally have these problems (there is an easy fix if you are often w/out internet - work in the so called offline mode, so just set everything up once with internet, then click on stay offline next to the green dot). Buuuut - that still does not acknowledge the fact that cloud syncing should always be an OPTIONAL step where MANUAL customer interaction is required (ie customer should click a button), it should never be the default way that things are handled.
I do acknowledge that the original line of thought probably was a good one with travelling esports professionals wanting to take their input settings with them from tournamenent to tournament, and there is nothing wrong with that. I just think it is bad practice to force a customer to put data into the cloud even if it is just once during setup. (and yes, that makes me also disagree with most tech companies out there.)

Wait, so all I needed to do is just go to offline mode..? And even if I go offline mode there wont be a difference since my data and settings don't change up and stay always the same besides not needing the updates that razer synapse 2 produces.. Wow.. If I only knew that some other time god dammit..

Indeed, that would seem to solve your predicament

Pretty much. Just remember that your settings won't be synced.
