I've noticed this too, the option for Wifi Calling isn't always there, even though i have a full Wifi signal
  3. I have the same issue but I think it may have had something to do with the 5g band and threeintouch. More testing required but hasn't dropped since I've added both bands in the app.

We don't support Wi-Fi calling. It requires certification by the carriers.

Isn't this Wi-Fi calling? It's Iike WhatsApp or FaceTime audio calling right? On WhatsApp I think I received WiFi call without issues. Or is it because my carrier support it, but it is WiFi we're talking about, isn't that nothing to do with them?
Edit: I think I don't really understand what Wifi calling is.

This is different. Wi-Fi calling via the Phone App will require certification from the carrier to bounce you from a low coverage area to WiFi, where as calling via using FaceTime, Messenger, WhatsApp is sending data through your wi-fi connection.

Why did this change? I have been using Wi-Fi calling on my Razer Phone with T-Mobile since I got it at launch with no issues at all. After the update to 8.1 it no longer works and my phone is basically useless. I live in a rural area and work from home, I have no/very bad service with all carriers and settled on this phone because of the Wi-Fi calling and other features.

Are there plans to support it or will I be able to roll back to a previous version to make it work?

We've never officially supported Wi-Fi calling. Please contact our customer service team for further assistance.

  9. Hey @Khanger I'm not trying to be a pain here but I bought this phone on the condition it would do volte and wifi calling and looks like the 8.1 update killed it.

I pulled this from tmonews.com where I got my news when it first launcjed and they wrote Razer had said to them it was certified:

"Razer tells me that the Razer Phone has been certified for T-Mobile VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling. Here’s what the Razer Phone’s wireless band support looks like"

Thanks again and I love my Razer phone!!
  10. Can I ask what you mean by app?
