I honestly think they forgot all about that thing called Synapse.

Or so it seems from a customer's point of view.

I think you need to submit to the newsletter - Razer will give u a headsup on when synapse 3.0 is available for download and Beta testing.

I don't think so. I think, sadly, what we are going to see as this all plays out, is support for older products is going to be very limited. As a result, an automatic transition/update to Synapse 3 will not be possible. This is just my instinct, I have no insights inside Razer, I am just a fan, end-user and customer.

Whatever the case. I love my Naga Chroma, but if I'd known how bad Synapse 2 would be, I'd have bought my MMO mouse from a different company. I'm tired of reconfiguring it because my settings get lost. Whether older mice get support in Synapse 3 or not, we do deserve fixes.

well tbh that does not answer the q at hand. i have a mouse from a different company but if there is budget/way for me to get sth razer ill gladly do it. i got into razer very lately but im really into it with both working and rewards. now in terms of the actual qeustion i think it was already answered

I don't think so. But let's hope for the best, they might integrate all functionality available on Synapse 2 to 3.

It's more difficult to maintain two separate versions of the same program. Generally speaking, it's in Razer's best interest to migrate everything to v3.
There may, however, be specific issues where this wouldn't be feasible.

Honestly, this isn't something I've spoken to the staff about - I would imagine that someone like @njbmartin or perhaps @Vaypron might have at least a tiny bit more insight, maybe even @Lafar for that matter.

Here's what I'm hoping for though: I'm hoping that when the bugs are worked out on Synapse 3.0 for the newest products that it supports that they'll slowly integrate the older stuff into it as well and then roll out Synapse 3.0 as an official release and it will take the place of Synapse 2.0 and support nearly all of the same devices.

I have no clue what the actual plan is, but that would be ideal.
