Will the Blackshark V2 Work with the USB Controller from a Kraken Tournament Edition?

Hello. I currently own a Kraken Tournament Edition and am interested in purchasing a Blackshark V2. While the Blackshark V2 comes with a USB controller/sound card, I would like to use the USB Controller from the Kraken TE I currently own to use on my Blackshark V2. I checked the FAQ page for the Kraken TE and it said that the USB controller can allow for support for spatial audio on any* 3.5mm headset, but my question is this:

Is there a version of the Blackshark V2 (not the V2 😵 that is sold WITHOUT the included USB sound card?

I know that the V2 X does not include one, however it does not have as much features as the regular V2, such as the ear cups are more comfortable on the V2, as well as it not having a speedflex cable or a detachable microphone. The V2 also has better sound encoding than the V2 X, and that is why I was looking to purchase that one. But the included USB sound card that it includes makes it just outside my price range, so I was hoping I could get one without it, since I already have a USB sound controller that I obtained from my Kraken TE.

If anyone could please help me finding a Blackshark V2 without the USB sound card, or perhaps letting me know if it will even work on the Kraken TE's controller in the first place, I will very much appreciate the assistance. Thank you.

Hi there! Thanks this thread interesting. Thanks for posting your inquiry here. The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition's USB sound card is designed for its model only, the same goes with the Razer Blackshark V2. On the other hand, the Razer Blackshark V2 X is an analog headset with a 3.5mm connection only but is 7.1 Surround capable through the 7.1 Surround Sound app. Also, the Blackshark V2 does not have a version without the USB sound card.
