Lol well clearly the posts are the same and it is new years (at least on east coast not where razer is located). Can anyone test if the codes still work though?

Oh, I was getting the Razer Swift Hoodie. I ended up getting the Keyboard bag for free, Since i waited to order it a couple more days so i had the posts for the bag.

honestly it sounds just ill-advised to make anything post based. Why not "like" based, as in how much i can contribute the community kind of thing?

I agree that sounds like a good idea but I find that a lot of the time people don't really like any posts. Maybe if somehow it took account for posts and likes, and valued likes higher than posts or something

    that also could work.
Personally i was already thinking about what could go wrong and as an example:
    Alt accounts "like" botting.

Perhaps the staff themselves appreciating/liking could have an more effective impact too.

I think they will change the rewards system a tiny bit and may also provide different rewards.

Like-based has the same problem as post-based. It would be way too easy to abuse the reward-system. Just make multiple accounts and like the own posts. They need a system that is not based on something that is so easy to abuse.

Yeah i feel ya, sort of said that afterwards.
Far as i know, you folks penalize spammers, by temporary kicking them after posting a tad too fast.

aab010799, suggested something pretty great. Like a post-rep ratio thing, granted it would require ground work to make it work with the reward system, it could be an pretty viable alternative.
My other reply however, suggested something different, like a value system. With constructive feedback and bug reports scoring the most and liked comments having a bit less of an impact.

It's too bad there wasn't another contest like the mousepad design contest: design our new Insider Rewards system! (and the person whose design is most like the one that they end up with gets all of the rewards for the next Rewards cycle for free).

This would be a good idea, But it would have some flaws. Almost any reward system they could put on this forum would have flaws with it, either it be glitches or abuse of the system.

The only way to have some kind of Rewards system that couldn't be abused, is to not have it be on a public forum and based on stuff people do on that forum, or to have Razer staff/mods get together on a regular basis and actually manually award points toward rewards, giving weighted values to people's posts. I wouldn't want to do that.

That link actually appeared December 31st. Also, why are we using this thread to discuss the razer insider rewards, rather than the 20 page one thats been around for months. This thread is just restating ideas from the other thread and isnt really contibuting much.

He said that because on the rewards page today they removed the post amount, And all the rewards, Along with the rules and all of that at the bottom of the page. It means that they are doing something with it.

I think besides posts, previous purchase history of Razer products should also contribute to how 'loyal' of a Razer fan you are, this information is easily accessible from Razer Synapse.

Actually, @TheGurgeMan I agree with you completely. For that reason I'm going to go ahead and close this down and encourage people to post in the other thread if they wish to chat about the old rewards system, the new rewards system, what they hope is used in the new system, etc. It's best to not have multiple threads addressing the same topic all over the forums.

    Thanks guys!! :)
