Will unique effects ever come to the Razer Blackwidow Chroma?

    Hey!

I'm new to the insider forum, despite being a Razer customer for as long as I can remember. Nevertheless, I have a question regarding the effects for the Blackwidow Chroma (non X).

I'm on the verge of buying the Blackwidow, however I recently saw a review of the Ornata and realized that the "Fire" effect is exclusive. I might be mistaken, although I believe the X variant also has a unique effect.

It might sound silly but I'm really into the fire effect, and it might be a deciding factor if I opt away from the regular Blackwidow Chroma or not.

Is there any user-made profiles that replicate the official effect, will the effect be added in the future; this is what I wonder.

Thanks in advance to any replies.

    Sincerely
    Fredrik

Do you mean the "Starlight" effect? I think it isn't that easy to replicate. However you could try to use the "Ripple" effect in different colors in different areas.

@ONREY That's the one on the X yes, though I specifically seek the "Fire" effect found with the Razer Ornata.

I got the keyboard today anyways. Are these the new "Greetech" switches or the old Kailh ones? IMG_20161120_152152_001.jpg

I can't exactly tell, but it doesn't matter the "old" Razer switches are not really Kalih switches... they're just manufractured by Kalih I'm typing on razer greens right now.
I don't think you will notice any difference anyways
