Ever since the removal of paid to play, getting zSilver has been an extremely slow process. The cheapest thing you can get is a $5 discount in the Razer store for 1,500 zSilver. If you wanted to get that you'd have to go through the process of checking in everyday for roughly 40 days without missing a single day. If you wanted to get something for 5000 zSilver it now takes 125 days of waiting.

Since getting zSilver is now extremely slow I don't think there's a point to even trying to get in the first play. I'm sitting at about 40k right now and I want to get a copy of Hover which costs 50k so it'll take 250 days of logging in to get 10k zSilver. In the past you could easily make 2,100 zSilver in a week and sometimes 4,200 if there was a double weekend. So what would take three weeks now takes 35 weeks.

Some people may say that the Insider Achievements are the replacement but in reality, they still don't give you enough to make a dent in any of your purchases. The most you can earn weekly is 100 zSilver. The other achievements either give you like 20 - 100 zSilver for something small or like 100 - 300 for owning specific products, which defeats the purpose of zSilver if you're trying to save money. I've tried to do the Mogul Arena thing but it literally only has Dota 2 and CS:GO matches in Asia.

I think that if there isn't some sort of replacement that actually rewards fans at a decent rate then there'll be little to no purpose in anyone even checking in for the zSilver.

Agreed. It's very difficult now. I seem to see a lot of people using this Mogul Arena thing. But I was under the impression it was only available to South East Asia (SEA). Am I underestimating how many SEA people are on these forums, or is there some way to take advantage of the Mogul Arena zSilver for NA/EUR?

I don't think there's any way for anyone outside of Asia to use Mogul Arena. Even though they're making a large effort to team up with Razer it seems like they did it just for the Asian part of the Razer community, but I've only seen English in the website's chats. So basically, they're are trying to get Western audiences on the website, but not trying to get them to use it.

I find Mogul Arena is better then nothing considering you can get ZSilver and win prizes using the esports elite section of the platform, but it does take quite a bit of time and effort (not to mention skill) to get anywhere on the leaderboards IMO. They might still be reworking the paid to play program, and if they are not they did say they will be adding many other ways to earn ZSilver in the future so it will likely get back to normal at some point.

The only part of the arena that is SEA only are some of the tournaments as far as I can tell, Esports elite and some other tournaments are world wide.

I can't see it as better than nothing seeing as the biggest part of it, competing in tournaments, is something most of the people who joined came for but cannot do. It'd be fine if it was actually reasonably possible to do Mogul Arena in a worthwhile manner.

Agreed, dont see the point in removing it while they "fix" it, game devs dont cancel their games while updating it

Yea without the ability to earn zSilver there is no point in it now :disappointed:

I mean, you can still get zSilver, it's just the effort-to-payout ratio is not worth it.

The zSilver system is now more what I think it should be though, a way from razer to show they appreciate their cult and giving out extra stuff for people who use their stuff a lot. Not rewarding the bad willed people who only came to zSilver becuase of the premise of "free stuff"

Yeah but now the only way to get anything is excruciatingly slow daily process of checking in. It would've been nice if they just changed it to where you have to own a Razer product, to lower the amount of people just there for the free stuff.

Our can you please reconsider change the price? Because with Zsilver expiring in October it will be very hard to gain Zsilver until there.

I would love to have pay-to-play back with for example games bought with zgold? I don't mind to buy with zgold to support Razer and have good deals and even win the 900 points with those games. Reconsider it please!

The expiration date of zSilver is another thing to take into account. From my understanding you have about a year to spend your zSilver before a chunk is removed. If you wanted to get an item such as the Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 it'd take you 15 years.

    296,000 (zSilver) / 380 (zSilver per week) = 778 (weeks) / 52 (weeks per year) = 15 (years)

I'm pretty sure your zSilver would expire by then.

I find doing the esports elite part of it to be fun, but you do need the skills in esports teams and such to get anywhere, but if you are good at it then you are pretty set when it comes to ZSilver.

The main sources of zSilver should be viewed als bonuses for purchasing through zGold I think, especially now with the launch of razer's own gamestore.

Have you seen the payout ratio for buying zSilver? $10 will get you 1000 zSilver which can't even get you a $10 Razer discount. Razer staff members themselves have said many times that the point of zSilver was to reward dedicated fans and to give people who couldn't afford their stuff a way of hopefully getting it.

    people who own razer product...
I dun think that is enough, should only give chances for people who own MULTIPLE razer product/own certain value of razer product/ be certain old of razer member. Its not like someone simply buy a kitty ears and get such good reward.
or juz fix the system into more balancing system e.g anti multiple account/ ip address check/ task system

To me that sounds rather selfish though, you expect of Razer to give you $10 for each $10 you spend? This would sound absolutely ridiculous if you changed Razer to any other company, the fact that Razer gives back so much to their community should not be a reason for them to be expected even more of.

As of the second thing you mention I totally agree, though that is a very ideal situation that woul be rather hard to actually achieve without it being misused or something happening like what caused "paid to play" to get canceled.

The reason I mentioned getting $10 back is because of how little 1000 zSilver will get you. To get 5000 zSilver you'd have to spend $50, and then you could get a $10 discount meaning you still have to spend money when you use it. If you want to buy something for $10 in the Razer store and have a $10 discount, you aren't allowed to buy it. To me, that just defeats the purpose of saving up so much if I still have to spend money to get something.

The issue is that now spending money is really only the way of getting a "decent" (comparative to other methods) amount of zSilver and even then, it's not that much. If you want to go the zGold route of getting zSilver, the ratio is still insane. If you buy $100 of zGold, you get 10,000 zSilver which can get you barely anything.
