Windows 10 single left click double clicking

  1. Hi everyone,

I've been having this issue for a while - when I make a single click on the left mouse button, Windows 10 registers a double click and this is a huge pain, especially when checking emails on webpages cuz it winds up moving, deleting stuff unintentionally. I notice it seems to be a Windows 10 issue, as I also experience this at work on a PC that's running w/ a mouse by another make (very basic mouse).

I found the workaround is to decrease scroll wheel down to 1 line at a time (minimum) and even turning off scroll wheel scrolling in Synapse. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Synapse, closing and reopening Synapse, etc., but problem returns if I use the scroll wheel.

However, is there no way to fix this in Synapse (compensating for Windows bug) so that I can still use my scroll wheel without left clicking going crazy?

    Thanks for any help!

I am using Razer Ornata keyboard with Razer Hyperflux/Mamba combo.

I have the same problem with the Mamba wireless.

  3. Update: I found that going into Devices, Mouse, Additional Mouse Settings and checking the "Hide Pointer while Typing" box seems to make the Windows pointer more stable.

  4. Nope, these workarounds only lessen the problem.
