Windows 2004 update and Razer SE 2020 Display Issue

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere ... the Windows 2004 update has messed with the display size of my new Razer SE 15" 2020 laptop. I understand it's some bug that affects some NVIDIA drivers. Anyone found a workaround, or are people just living with it until MS fix? Thanks!

Why do you think it’s a hardware issue? Looking around online it looks like it’s a Microsoft update issue related to Nvidia drivers.

I don't believe it is but I contacted Razer and they told me to send mines in to fix this issue. But the more I look into it the more I find out its a software problem.
Having done yet more research I think this is to do with Razer having a custom NVIDIA driver release - 442.53 - that doesn't appear to be consistent with Windows 10 2004. Supposedly someone from Razer is looking into this for me (after I had a long chat yesterday with them). From what I can see on nvidia.com the driver is actually at release 452.06.

The issue is fixed by updating your bios to 1.05 and making sure your windows 10 is up to date. Once you do that you won't have any issue with the display.

Very interesting. How do I update to 1.05?
OK. From here I found how to update to 1.04. But doesn't seem to have fixed the issue.

You have to get it from tier 2 support
Good to know. I am on their call list - supposedly in the next 24 hours. I will let you know.
Also, I see there was an update for the NVIDIA driver and I am now on 452.06 (but this doesn't fix the issue).
My tier 2 support person suggested changing the scaling on the display to a non-standard number, which is clearly disappointing. Either fix the default display recommendations, or fix why the defaults aren't displaying well. No mention of upgrading to bios 1.5.
