the dark web. that is my worst experience. and following that being on 4chan, enraging some f*ckwit, and suddenly seeing your phone number and address and all being posted. sometimes i'm grateful for whiteknights.

I tried to send somebody a trade my knife for there knife (Both were worth about 120$) in cs:go. I apparently accidentally sent them a offer of my knife for nothing. I didn't notice until the next day. Thank god they didn't accept it before i noticed.

There was this really toxic player in overwatch a few weeks ago.
He decided it was a good idea to be a solo bastion not going for objectives, then when he died a bunch made it our fault.

Of course the next random competition game, he was on my team again. This time he had the audacity to claim how bad I was and that we will probably lose as it's like "5v6". Well we did lose that one.. lol

Finally, overmatched matched us one more time, but I was competing against him. We capped the payload with like 2 total deaths. and I just said "steamroller" at the end. lol

    Worst hosting EVER.

Bought a vps there, moved my website to their hosting.

Managed all my stuff on the vps

Hosting got a fake DMCA takedown request.
Hosting deleted all my stuff (without any backup)

And tried to steal my domain name WTF.

Had to pay 20$ eventually to move my domain name back to another hosting.

The dark web happened. I know that sounds weak and annoying but the things I'd have to type out would certainly get me banned. Let's just say it's a meeting place for people with very disturbing tastes in audiovisual stimuli (think children, animals, dead people and so on used for...err....personal entertainment purposes). Seeing things like that will make an impact on you as a human being.

I thought Red Rooms were just myths. I wonder how many of the twisted stories I've heard are real.

    likely a lot.
If you can imagine it, it's there, I guarantee it. That's why I always cringe when 12yo kids are downloading onion browsers and such, please, PLEASE keep your innocence, if you need to know ask someone, a story is bad enough, actually SEEING things is a whole different level.

Dude... You were obviously actively looking for that content. I use both TOR and I2P and none of that stuff just jumps out at you, you have to actually be looking for it.

Every single time I lag during a competitive CS:GO game. Or meet a hacker.

My worst experience online happened when I was in my teenage years. I played Maple Story and then I made close friends in a particular guild. I was dumb enough to agree to add each other on Facebook. Lots of drama happened because of disagreements. My Facebook became toxic, so was the game.

The story was a lot more deeper, but I'd rather not post too much here.

True, in order to find someone committing a horrible offence would be challenging do to those people not wanting the law catching up to them.

On the other hand, when one goes looking for the unseen you can often find surprises you did not want to find. Regardless, the dark web is nothing to venture to deep into if you value your soul, and possibly your safety.

I could not possibly agree more!! There are things about the internet that I wish I had growing up, but the readily available darker side of the internet is *not* one of them. I see far too many kids having their innocence obliterated far too early. (in my eyes, the kids getting a hold of this stuff as early as 9-10yrs old is far too early) Because of things that kids are talking about in school these days my 13 year old has asked questions about things I didn't hear of until at least a bit later into high school and never saw for myself until well into my 20's.

It's not video games desensitizing our younger generations, it's the internet and their classmates -- and irresponsible parents.

I was addicted to porn when I was 12. So much for learning how to Google from a guidebook....

Haha, dude I had an FTP porn server running through IRC in 1998 (I was 14). There was a 1/4 upload/download requirement so when I got home from school each day, for every 4 photos viewed there was a new one waiting for me.

...man some people uploaded some weird shit. Innocence ruined. haha

  20. I became friends with someone through a steam group chat. I deleted him after a month or two, and he decided to contact people from my facebook profile to get in touch with me. He contacted my ex, and my bestfriend, and was considering contacting my mother.
I've never been more creeped out in my life. Apparently, he was worried about my health. Because obviously I was having a nervous breakdown for deleting him, what other reason could it be. *Insert facepalm*
