yeelights won't go completely dark

While using razer chroma to synchronize two new yeelights I purchased I was having a blast syncing them up using ambient awareness and exploring cod MW, plagues tale, and rust. It's a great addition to your setup as your room flickers with the intensity of a torch in the game while bright colorful lights, and explosions light up your room while playing a high octane deathmatch in cod.

Although there is just one small hiccup to these lights that I can't seem to fix...

when the lights are trying to calculate an ambient color to display if they see lots of dark colors or are just scanning black pixels the lights won't turn off and instead stay locked at 1% brightness around a grey or white-ish color which is not very dark at all. In addition when it starts scanning dark colors it will jump to extremely saturated dark shades of red green and blue that flicker like crazy ruining almost any immersion you just had.

if there was just an option in ambient awareness to set the value of anything @≤1% as off it would be soooo helpful. I am not sure if the HUE lights do this as well but it's def something my keyboard doesn't have trouble with. (Razer Huntsman)

I'm also using the yeeLight Toolbox from yeelight themselves to take advantage of the software's auto brightness feature. The lights make the contrast between dark nights and bright days so much more hyperbolic. I just wish the nights weren't so jank.

I have the same issue and its very weird that the bulbs can't deal with the black color.
I think we have to hope for an update.
