Because I just saw someone asking about the best series, I would like to know from you, what is your favorite film?
I would like to know this because watching series takes a lot of time but sometimes I am thinking about: "What nice movie I could watch right know?"
My favorite ones are: "Prisoners" and "Lucky Number Slevin"

Hope for some new innovative ideas guys. Thx in advance

Edit: I try to answer your posts and give some feedback, hope u enjoy. :smile_:

Mine is currently tied between Inglorious Bastards and Django Unchained. I have heard about Lucky Number Slevin but never ended up watching it, I might have to look into that.

one of my favorite films of recent times was "The imitation game". It's about Alan Turing and the machine he built during WWII to crack the German enigma machine which was use to encrypt German messages during the war. He is credited as one of the founders of computer science and the machine he build is pretty amazing

oooh I was really interested in that one but life happened and I never got around to seeing it. Also I think its "imitation" game not intimidation? I thihk the only issue I might have is that from what I have heard they don't represent what his machine actually did very accurately. At least not according to my CS professor.

I just watched deadpool and I liked it. Even though it is a low budget movie compared to other marvel movels they did a great job. They destroyed the box office and everybody expectation of being a r-rated movie.

Yes! Deadpool has definately been one of my favorite movies so far. Inception, The Princess Bride (don't judge it till you have watched it) and Robin Hood: Men in Tights are all really great movies, Inception is pretty deep, but the other two are comedies.

I love both The Princess Bride and Men In Tights! If you have never seen it, Stardust is a really good movie that has a bit of a Princess Bride feel to it.

    I can't name one, so I'll provide a list.....
Super Troopers, The Last Boy Scout, Neccessary Roughness, Mallrats, 12 Monkeys, A Knight's Tale, Big Trouble in Little China, Dazed and Confused, Fletch, Inside Man, Man on a Ledge, 10 Things I Hate About You, Coming To America, Cool Runnings, Office Space, Galaxy Quest, My Cousin Vinny, Sneakers, Shooter, The Big Lebowski, Excalibur, The Naked Gun, Snake Eyes, Varsity Blues, Almost Famous, Die Hard, The Goonies, Leon The Professinal, The Burbs, Donnie Darko, Airheads, 12 Angry Men.............I better just stop now. :)

@bmoconno What do you think of my list?

Good list, @Detective_Chimp , I'm with you... there's no way I could pick just one.

However, The Princess Bride, would definitely be near the top of the list. I've seen that movie so many times, and I still love it.

I also agree that Stardust is often overlooked, and does have a Prince Bride tone to it. It's a really good movie, and I enjoyed De Niro as Capitan Shakespeare. Really the whole cast was pretty great.

^^ Back to the Future will always stand the test of time.

Best film of all time has to be Natural Born Killers, comedy and gritty carnage and gore.. what more could you ask for.. but then again Pulp Fiction comes a close second.

I know the worst movie I've ever watched was Bridge to Terabithia. Terrible, terrible film.

I watched both movies and of course they both got a completely different story and type of film but in my opinion Django Unchained catches me more and wins the fight. :)

Cool I think the film is not known so much. You should definitely go for it. Great story and great actors (Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Ben Kingsley, ...).
