Caps, Scr Lk and Num Lk on Blackwidow Elite & Chroma V2

Dear all,

I am new to the forum but I do have a question you may find strange: I have a Blackwidow Chroma TE V2, and one of the functions I love on it is that whenever you activate Caps, Scr Lk and Fn+F10, the colour on those buttons switches to white when they are active, and return to your default colour profile when you de-activate them.

That's brilliant as it's very easy to see when one of those keys is active.

Now, I have recently got an Elite (as my "Razer extended"), however I've noticed that instead of Caps, Scr Lk, FN+F10 and Num lk working in the same logic and turn white when pressed, they have instead placed individual (but very hard to spot!!) LED's onto the chassis of the keyboard itself.

As there is a very faint inscription of what LED is for which key (and as 4 out 5 LED's are white), this makes very hard to see what is active on the Elite, unless you use a magnifier.

Has anyone found a way to make the LED's on these keys at the Elite's turn white when pressed (activated), but return to the default profile colour when they are pressed again (de-activated)?

I really can't understand the Razer design team: they make a great keyboard on Chroma TE V2 and decide NOT to put RGB's on spacebar and FN (whereas the user could turn the lights off if they wish from Chroma studio!!), then they make the Elite and the Blackwidow X, they remove the light change on the keycap itself where you could easily tell what's on, and throw all LEDs on the chassis and you can't tell what's on and what's off, unless you use a magnifier..

Has anyone thought to find a way and make Elite Caps, Scr Lk, F10 and Num Lk work as the Chroma TE V2?

Thanks a lot,
Christos

You might be able to finagle something using Synapse.

Have key down on Caps Lock switch to a new Chroma profile where the Caps Lock key is lit up. And on the new profile, when the Caps Lock key is pressed, switch back to the original profile. Same logic could apply to the other keys.
I just got the Razer Blackwidow Elite keyboard. Its awesome but I too need the CAPS lock to change color when activated. How do you make it so it switches to another profile when the CAPS lock is pressed? Thanks for the help.

I haven't managed to try different profiles, to be honest I am finding having both Synapse 2.0 (for the Blackwidow 😵 AND Synapse 3.0 running at the same computer (for Blackwidow Chroma V2) VERY annoying and don't want to mess it up...it gives enough bugs and memory consumption as it is...!!
