So i been searching for solution about this and there was not a single answer.
Had razer phone 1 and 2.
But my razer phone 2 display have the yellow tint effect even when the colour change to vivid and night mode turn off. Since razer phone doesnt have any display calibration setting, how do i solve this ?

I talked with customer service. They said it's the way RP2 is and they can't do anything to fix that.
So I return the phone.
I'm not committed to look at yellow screen for the next couple years.
I have left monitor (1440p 144Hz) half year and right one (4K 60Hz) two years both have great brightness only warmer on 144Hz one I think because there’s no 144Hz Panel that is bright like that 4K Panel but I prefer using the faster one, especially on gaming and browsing, on media consumption it’s not bad at all, unless you watching it side by side. Same as RP2 I’ve also crazy white bright iPhone but surfing due screen smoothness I prefer on RP2 now. Note I had RP1 and didn’t regret the upgrade at all, this blows all similar flagship phone despite new s10 with 855, of course iPad and iPhone is different story.

Well Customer Service really wouldn't be able to help as the issue is (presumably) not a hardware defect and therefore not subject to the general RMA process. I believe the issue is likely a matter of screen calibration. As such, I am of the humble opinion that we should continue to raise this issue with Razer. Some of the possible outcomes may be as follows:
1) Razer provides an official statement on this issue, giving us closure and hopefully indicating the reason for the yellow tint / warm display calibration (if it was by design);
2) Razer provides a software update adjusting the screen colour temperature to be more neutral; or
3) Razer provides a software update giving us the ability to adjust our own colour temperature.
Let's hope we hear something soon. Also, on an unrelated note, the speaker crackling issue is reduced somewhat but is still alive and well :slightly_sad:.

Actually, the funny (not funny part) about it is I changed the display setting and I don't see the different at all.
All 3 options are the same (or my phone is busted).
Yeah all 3 will pretty much be the same, the display is just warmer in tone than the last and other devices. It's just the way the screen is.
Still beats the RP1 hands down.
I also noticed that my RP2 display is noticeably warmer than not only my RP1 but is also warmer than my Axon 7 and Honor 8x.
I don't think it is a hardware defect though. It seems to just be poor colour temperature calibration. Let's hope we can get Razer's attention and at the very least receive an official response on the matter.
I have taken the liberty of recording a short video comparing the screens of the RP1 and RP2.

Make sure to keep your display settings on "Natural" not vivid or boosted. Aside from that I will have more insight on the "Warm/yellowish tint" in the near future. I do believe it is normal, however... and still much brighter than the RP1 as promised.
The display on the RP2 is noticeably warmer than the first when put together but I think it's normal. I didn't even remember mine being very warm until I put it next to my RP1 lol
There's no colour control on the RP1 to make it more cool colour than warm unfortunately

I have the same yellow screen problem.
It is noticably yellow. Anyone find the solution yet?
