So i been searching for solution about this and there was not a single answer.
Had razer phone 1 and 2.
But my razer phone 2 display have the yellow tint effect even when the colour change to vivid and night mode turn off. Since razer phone doesnt have any display calibration setting, how do i solve this ?

Overall I like my RP2 screen way better than the 1st. So much brighter and more vibrant.
there is nothing vibrant about yellow tint effect.
I mean night light feature is there for a reason, why make it like this, i just wan to see some white but all i get is yellowish screen its just so weird. They might as well just remove night light in the setting since its pretty much 24/7 on. As much as i really want to like the phone, they ruin the display. Even in video or games, its so noticeable that i pretty much just off the phone and let it collect dust.

The reason I ask is simply because I like to try to figure things out for myself; in this instance it would be trying to answer the question "Why would Razer put a screen that is remarkably different from one phone iteration to the next?" I don't work for Razer, so don't REALLY have any kind of direct answers to those types of questions (and @Rox598 has way more information regarding these phones than I do anyway).
Shoot, I don't even have a RP2, hence my needing to ask those types of questions about the difference in color temperature, just so I can try to do some experimenting with different styles and kelvin settings of lights.
I have found that when I am outside with my RP1 it looks cool (what I can see against the glare of my protective glass), and then head indoors, then my screen looks super-blue. If I turn on night light and add some warmth to my screen, when I go outside it looks a more moderate white, but as I head inside it looks cooler but not quite blue.
What does this mean?
Absolutely nothing to RP2 owners ... but quite possibly there was a choice to use a warmer screen to counteract the cooler color temperature of sunlight while not having the screen look really blue when going from sunlight to incandescent or fluoro. I like the sound of that better than "that's how the screen is".
Well , for someone like me who been on desktop most of the time, RP1 screen felt more natural. I dont know about it being too blue on indoor since it looks pretty fine to me. But for RP2, the yellowish tint effect is very obvious. Every single time i took my RP2 out, its always that effect thats abit triggering. As for the indoor outdoor part, well i dont think we all use it under the sun often. The only time i use it under the sun is usually to check for message or smth. else i would go under a shade which the yellow tint effect will be there to greet you. To be honest, i was happy when they said they gonna increase the RP2 brightness, but did not expect them to pull a fast one on me. It is a flagship phone right, i dont think many will use it outdoor directly under the sun most of the time.

So what are we talking about here? 3.2k vs 4.8k or even 5.6k?
And does it look better when viewed outdoors in sunlight?
I am by no means an expert in the field nor do I have the necessary equipment to tell you the exact colour temperature. That said, it would be pedantic to require such specific values from the end user. After all, the phone is sold to the end lay user and whilst the degree of which the colour temperature is observed is subjective, the fact of the yellow undertone is not. What I can say is that the screen is warm to the point that a noticeable yellow tint is cast over all white elements on any given image displayed.
I will conduct some tests in outdoor settings with the RP1 and RP2 and report my findings.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a warmer screen easier to look at for longer periods of time with less eye strain than a cooler screen? Isn't that why Gunnar's lenses mostly have blue-blocking tints? And why the "night light" feature on many phones (and even computers) basically just removes a lot of blue from the screen?
Be that as it may, it doesn't detract from the poor colour temperature calibration of the screen. Easier on the eye or not, the white balance is off by a noticeable degree. It was one thing if we were given the opportunity to adjust the colour temperature ourselves but we have no such option.
Furthermore, I have compared my RP2 to my RP1, Axon 7, Honor 8X as well as my friends' Oneplus 5t, Galaxy S8+, iPhone X and a host of others and the RP2 is the only phone that displays grayscale in a shade of amber.
Specifically in relation to your "Easier on the eyes" point, all of the aforementioned phones have a night light feature, that can be switched on and off, inclusive of the Razer phone 2. So if the yellow screen was by design for eye comfort and to reduce possible eye strain, then why even add an optional night mode to begin with?
Don't get me wrong. I love my RP2 and this is not a reason to return an otherwise fantastic device. That said, the screen temperature is just a tad too warm and this can be easily remedied by Razer.

Noticed this on mine I'll look into it
Any update on your investigations?
P.S. please accept my gratitude for your time and effort in assisting with this matter.

I went to Fred Meyer today and tried to get some photos printed, and while they provided a cord that fit with my Razer phone 2, most of my photos could not be read by the machine. The only ones that worked were 30 years old, which is interesting.
Guess I'll just return the phone then. Just glad that my razer phone 1 is still good.

I talked with customer service. They said it's the way RP2 is and they can't do anything to fix that.
So I return the phone.
I'm not committed to look at yellow screen for the next couple years.
I have left monitor (1440p 144Hz) half year and right one (4K 60Hz) two years both have great brightness only warmer on 144Hz one I think because there’s no 144Hz Panel that is bright like that 4K Panel but I prefer using the faster one, especially on gaming and browsing, on media consumption it’s not bad at all, unless you watching it side by side. Same as RP2 I’ve also crazy white bright iPhone but surfing due screen smoothness I prefer on RP2 now. Note I had RP1 and didn’t regret the upgrade at all, this blows all similar flagship phone despite new s10 with 855, of course iPad and iPhone is different story.

Actually, the funny (not funny part) about it is I changed the display setting and I don't see the different at all.
All 3 options are the same (or my phone is busted).
Yeah all 3 will pretty much be the same, the display is just warmer in tone than the last and other devices. It's just the way the screen is.
Still beats the RP1 hands down.
The display on the RP2 is noticeably warmer than the first when put together but I think it's normal. I didn't even remember mine being very warm until I put it next to my RP1 lol
There's no colour control on the RP1 to make it more cool colour than warm unfortunately
