My gaming name is Aladrieth, or sometimes Aladria. I’m from Canada, though I’ve lived in the US and Europe, as well. I’m unable to work due to a disability, so spend a fair bit of time playing games.

I’m wondering if someone can help me figure out how to use this forum properly, please? I just signed up for the website yesterday, hoping to get some help with using Synapse. I posted my question in the Synapse 4 section of the forum without too much trouble. But after an attempt to solve my problem went completely and horribly sideways, I decided I should write a second, separate post warning users of how that happened.

Somehow, though, that second thread got merged with my original question. I tried again and the same thing happened. I’m completely lost as to what I’m doing wrong!

As mentioned, Post #1 was a “question” in “Synapse 4.” I set up Post #2 as a “conversation” in “Synapse 4.” When that didn’t work, I tried Post #3 as a “conversation” in “Razer Support.”

I’ve been through the House Rules twice now, and there’s no mention of a daily limit on creating threads. The topics are different enough that I can’t see a moderator merging the posts deliberately, and anyway I haven’t had any PMs from one telling me about any such action. So what is going on?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, please. Hopefully this post doesn’t end up tacked onto the end of the original, too!

Hello guys, I am new to the insider forum of Razer. I am going mostly with name as Najarin. I do love gaming and I recently build my very first PC. It did cost somewhat alot, but I am happy about it. Other than that I am a father of 3 year old daughter, we play rocket league together and oh boy.. She did hit a goal actually 🫡

I also enjoy horor games, alltho I am only playing dead by daylight and I think I need new horor game. 

I also play Black Myth: Wukong and already beat the game. Started all over again as I love the story of it. Yet I don't get the Elden Ring somehow. 

Now, as I speak 4 languages, my main language is Croatian. I do play also roleplay gta V. Police didn't bust me yet 😂

So other than gaming, I enjoy spending time with my kid, I work full time as caretaker of elder people and I work as an influencer in my free time. I also find time to stream, sleep and eat. What else do I need? And no, I aint neglecting my wife who be disabled due rare diagnosis known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Other words glass bones. She had so many time broken bones that even I don't know of it. Yeah, I have whole day to do something, but also I do have time for a nice rest and relaxing. I love traveling and did traveled alot tho, yet I never traveled with plane yet lmao. Do I talk to much? Yeah, time for me to stop.

As a kid I adored my JRPGs, and still stand by Final Fantasy 7 being the greatest game of it time ever!

I slowly moved away from gaming, basically completely missed the PS3 generation, always busy with work and partying. I got back in to gaming as a means to stop partying and eventually joined my first CoD clan, which later became a fantastic gaming community!

Got into gaming competitively, doing CWL tournaments, with a huge emphasis on teamwork and strategy. As time went on I started co hosting live streams, this lead to switching from competitive, to social, gameplay changed from FPS to co op survival, edging closer to being more of a comedy podcast show... until COVID happened and the majority of our members became "essential workers" in our labour intensive jobs.

^ is also how I narrowly missed out on being ahead of the game as that was when podcasts and YouTubers hit big!

Since then, I've basically become more of a casual gamer, more for the social side.

Until recently. I have an operation on the 22nd for a mastoidectomy of a cholesteatoma in my ear as I have grade 3 hearing loss in my right ear.

Because of the hearing loss, I stopped switching between brands as I always had because I discovered the Razer Nari Ultimates with haptic feedback, which actually became a game changer for me!

Luckily my streaming gear was a mix of Elgato and Razer anyway, and just fell in love with the brand!

Now with the operation due, I tried searching everywhere for advice and reviews on headsets for post op, with a surprising amount of people looking for the same! But the best advice I found was: "just don't game until fully healed".

I won't be able to walk properly for a few weeks, let alone work! So I'll be damned if I can't game either! 

Long story short, fell in love with the blackshark V2 hyperspeed based on the reviews, the lightweight, and flex, and have now decided I would like to start testing and reviewing products for the Work-Torn gaming community that are fed up with being unable to compete, purely because our bodies have let us down and there's no one around to give us advice.
