Hey guys!! So after a day and a half of the real struggles in life i FINALLY got my vr headset to work properly with any Steam game. I was having a difficult time loading into VR chat and Phasmophobia. Problems i had with my VR So whenever i load into a game my VR headset will start to lag and loose its controllers motion and feedback. SIMPLE FIX IF you have a Razer device plugged in and you use Razer Cortex i recommend uninstalling that program. Razer Cortex exactly, other Razer programs do not affect the VR performance. I've had some issues with sudden server disconnects, and finally set some watchers up & caught the conflict. Appears that when Razer Cortex polls for services, BattlEye sees this as malicious, but same as having a crosshair enabled you're just exited a raid without any ban, but since this isn't a "known case", the error is just a "Disconnected from Server". This correlation is still only speculation looking at call stacks. Running with a clean system without Razer Cortex/Synapse to see. So far 4+ successful raids without a disconnect, it's typically every 4-5 I'd get a disconnect. Posting here mainly to see if voojio other Cortex users face similar issues.

I uninstall my razer cortex and now it removes every of my windows display options. I can't adjust the brightness, the color of my screen saturation, the resolution it's all gone, after i uninstall razer cortex, my screen keep blinking and the windows error sound keep appearing then my display just got bigger the screen is brighter and from there i have absolutely no options to control my screen please help. (sorry for the typo “Rqzer” on the title)update:it also removes my audio i can adjust volume but there’s no audio 

I bought razer kraken x two months ago then the size adjustments broke i never dropped or acted roughly with it so I contacted the store i bought it from so that they replace it but they said its my fault so what should i do? I have a 2 years warranty ( i have those photo of the broken parts its the 2 size adjustment )

I am trying to use the razor booster prime for valorant but it gives me the message “Unable to retrieve your game's current settings”I have tried doing everything and it doesn’t work. Im on the latest version of cortex too. 

Will there by any Support for Razer Cortex for Windows on ARM? The remote play driver installation shows an error when trying to install it.

Hi all, my Razer phone 1 won't charge unless I hold the cable towards me, so when it's flat on it's back you have to tie the cable excess to something higher to slightly lift the phone off the floor, then I get a charge. Any suggestions please?

I uninstalled Cortex because it starts without my permission whenever it chooses. There seems to be no way to control when it runs. There are no settings of any kind. The settings gear icon just opens an update utility with no options at all. I cannot support a product of this nature. Just thought you should know. Also, some games will not start properly, mainly those from Ubisoft. It caused my system to crash at times.

Hello, i am new to this, is there going to be a season 4?

I've tried everything to fix the issue. After launching Planetside 2 Cortex will boost, but when the game is closed it doesn't restore the system. It was working for a long time. I went afk and the game booted me. That's when the issue started. I tried to reinstall. I tried deleting everything I could find in the registry along with registry cleaners. I tried to delete the game install folder. I even downloaded and installed the beta. The only way I have been able to fix it is a fresh install of windows. But today it has happened again and I don't really want to reinstall windows. This is a critical feature to me and I will stop using/ trusting Razor software if this does not have a solution. After many web searches I have not found the answer. What could have changed that would bypass a fresh install. If its not in the registry or the install folder, what did it change? Did it change a system file or process? Any help would be appreciated. Also worth mentioning. The bug doesn't stop w

I download razer cortex for valorant to make it for vibrant but when i went to optimize and tried to turn it up Digital vibrance it says that my graphics card is not available for that option can anyone help . I have a intel i5 and a RTX 3050 . 

Hey y'all, I've been using Cortex to clear my ram since before Synapse 3 came out. I've recently upgraded my rig and since then Cortex has frequently locked up Windows from the moment I use the boost function. This problem persists after a hard restart. Windows will become unresponsive, unable to shutdown/restart, applications persist in the taskbar after closing them. What the **** is the point in installing Razer Cortex to optimize the computer when you run several MS Edge Web2 services that takes up way more resources than it can provide?? My system runs BETTER without Razor now!!!

Hello, I'd like to ask you about an issue that the app caused on my computer.I used the app a day ago to play a game than i finished and turned off my computer, then today i can't open such apps like my browsers in which i was using yesterday while the app was running ;whenever i open any one it starts than on the process of the increasing on consuming in task manager ,the browsers suddenly shut down and i removing the the Razer Cortex app but there's no difference. 

Always when i lauch apex with razer cortex booster enable and explorer.exe disable, apex restore explorer.exe. Same thing DOESNT happen with cyberpunk 2077 for exemple, cuz cyberpunk runs with explorer.exe disable. Any thoughts?

When I try to optimize my game settings, it says ‘unable to retrieve your game’s current settings, please restart the game or directly change ingame settings’, but this only happens for fortnite, valorant, roblox, and overwatch. works fine for genshin and honkai star rail. how can i fix this?

I installed Mirror's Edge 1 on EA APP but the Razer Cortex program has a problem with this game. It sees it installed, but tries to start the game not from the startup exe, but points to an ICO image. In fact on the game properties in START IN there is: H:\EaApp\Mirrors Edge\ME_Icon.ico and not H:\EaApp\Mirrors Edge\Binaries\MirrorsEdge.exe Is there no option to change and have the program detect the correct file?I think it's a BUG...

Hi, my Cortex is blocking my shortcut for the @-sign and i wanna change the shortcut for the fps-viewer. But when I try to change this shortcut, cortex ist crashing instantly and a window with FEEDBACK pops up. Is there any workarround to change this shortcut? I tried to reinstall it, incl. with a restart after uninstall. Windows 10-Build: 19044.1469 Razer Cortex Version: 9.18.7.1508

As stated in previous posts, ticking certain boxes will make razer cortex "optimization" completely wipe files in your download folder. This is unacceptable and I don't understand how this wasn't fixed. I'm furious, just a tad less furious because I was able to recover most of the files with Recuva. Still, this is absolutely unacceptable and I won't buy anything else from Razer in the future
