Razer Cortex

Hi there, At start of the season I've played a couple hours of Minecraft and it was perfectly registered. Somehow now it doesn't detect as a supported game for couting hours when I did not change anything. I tried to reinstall it and sometimes it detect the game for improve FPS but not for counting which I think is weird. I have a totally legal version of Minecraft (Java Edition). To be honest what I don't get is why it count before and not now.

Hoping the devs add custom crosshairs to cortex. I was recently annoyed by the apex crosshairs and wish they were bigger, realized you can't really customize em like in other games. I then proceeded to find random apps that did the job but wouldn't it be great if cortex had it already with lots of customization so we don't have to dl yet another app. Games like apex have already said this isn't bannable because some monitors already come with this feature. Opinions?

Razer cortex does not install, when try to install in folder where is cortex installer appear a text document with this message "Failed to write installer file (No such file or directory)". My PC have 3 disks "F" "E" "X", the directory disk with windows (10 64bit) is disk "F". What i need to do for do for installing without change disk name or maybe the problem is not the name of disk?

When I use the razer cortex game booster to optimize my game, sometimes when playing a game it randomly crashes my pc, or on rare occasions it blue screens. I play Valorant and if this happens to me I could get a penalty for Afk. Idk what it's causing because I stopped using it but if I could figure out what's going on I'll gladly fix it. System rig: Booster Configurations: Tell me which configuration is causing this and I'll disable it.

I recently encountered an issue with my Razer Cortex app. After updating it, I noticed that whenever I press "alt + r," it brings up an unwanted performance overlay. While this wouldn't typically be a problem, I often use these keys to quickly cast abilities on myself while playing League of Legends. Unfortunately, the overlay now pops up every time I use these keys, causing a significant drop in my FPS. I have searched extensively for a solution to this problem, including attempting to change the key bindings, but to no avail. Today I added a game to the cortex that I had never played before and the cortex said that I have 720 hours of game time, as well as saying that I played the previous days and I added the game today. Hello, yesterday Cortex did defragment on my second HDD disk where all my games are. It defragged diablo 4 which took 20 mins.After that it broke my disk. I can barely open any folder, games wontrun anymore. Takes ages to load a folder there.

Process listWhy does RazerCortext runs a task manager after each time I run a game through steam and then exit? First, I assumed it was because it tried to somehow restore running apps I hasd running before the game starts, but I use the new Task Manager, not the old one which Cortex is launching. What is causing this, and how can I prevent it?

When I try this razer cortex, I can use the digital vibrance when only playing valorant but when I play valorant now then I try to exit in game, the digital vibrance did not off. So even I'm not playing valorant the digital vibrance is on. I can't focus because the color is so sharp. btw my digital vibrance is 60 so it's fcking hurt in my eye right now, I'm not adept in this setup. This is the first time I have a problem like this in razer cortex. I already try to restart my PC but it did not work to turn off the digital vibrance. I want to fix it right now!

Razer Cortex has had a significant impact on my computer's performance. I have observed that when I am not using Razer Cortex, my frames per second (FPS) is consistently at 60. However, when Razer Cortex is running in the background, my FPS drops to 20-30. I am curious if anyone has any insights as to why this is happening.

I have lost numerous files and folders due to to this inept piece of programming. How does removing work files, gifs, pictures and videos from my downloads folder optimise a game? How do I get them back? Will Razer be paying for the recovery of these files as I will either need specialist software, or an external party to recover them? Of course they wont! I had a similar problem years ago with cortex where uninstalling deleted all the screenshots saved to the cortex folder, but thought I'd give it a go again and now wish I hadn't. Any assistance in recovering my files would be appreciated

I have been having this issue where my game would minimize unexpectedly in the middle of a fight in Counter Strike or in Grand Theft Auto: Five. I have been trying to find a fix for about a week and I turned off Auto-Boost which immediately fixed the problem. I’m not sure exactly which process/service it could be that causes the games to minimize but this is the solution that worked for me. I hope this works for anyone else having this problem as well.

Cortex v9.4.17.1004, Windows 10 pro (64bit) When I click the play button in "My Library" screen, cortex will apply boost settings and start 'game desktop' mode, but won't launch any of my games (most are Steam games). I'm left with a blank game desktop screen. I can then use ctrl+alt+del and then use the run dialog to start the game, but then cortex disables the boost features. I don't understand what I could be missing here. This has been an issue on both my previous, as well as new PC. Combing through this and other forums hasn't provided a working solution as of yet. I just want to use Cortex to launch games with an absolute minimum of background Windows processes.

in library there is icon of epic games but in add platform there is no such .  i dont havetime to add every game , how do i do, every response on internet is razer asking detail, but there is no detail to tell. the question is simple , where is the buitton to add epic game , that it thatr all.

There is another thread on this where the user sent you a log to look at. There was no resolution posted. I have Cortex set to boost when I launch my games from Steam. It doesn't work. I can boost manually. What is the fix for this?

I am trying to use the pc remote play feature, yet i have had nothing but issues for the so called “Easiest way to stream pc games to your phone”. It has kept streaming to the wrong monitor, my second monitor, when it is on a virtual display, games refuse to open I’ve noticed, it resets all of my monitor settings and because of it shutting off the main monitor for the virtual display, it pushes every application to the second monitor.  

Hello, How do I make the FPS chart working? I see a message "Start generating your FPS chart by palying the game" i press "start the game" but no fps chart running after 15 minutes. What am i doing wrong? Thanks

My computer has two GPUs. GPU 0 is a 3060 that I have my display connected to and is what I use to game. I also have a 1060 as GPU 1 that I use for encoding, folding, and hashing. GPU 1 appears on cortex and I fear that the FPS estimates, optimized game settings and other features are optimizing for a vastly inferior GPU. what should I do to select the correct GPU. GPU 0 is in PCI slot 0 and GPU 1 is in slot 3 I believe.

So today i installed razer cortex and i boosted fortnite etc used all the tools for more fps, but now my game keeps crashing and i dont know how to fix it.
