8 direction d-pad not functioning.

I have a Tartarus Pro controller and it used to work great but all of a sudden the 8 direction mode of the d-pad has stopped working. 4 direction with wasd works fine but 8 direction does nothing and it makes the controller basically worthless on any game you would use the d-pad to move.

Exactly the same issue. I accidentally clicked the dpad 4 to 8 and now the 8 will not work.

I haven’t tried it yet but my friend said he had a similar problem and he plugged in and updated the controller on a different PC and it worked. Then after that it worked on his again. May be worth a try.
