High CPU usage (system interrupts) on AC power, not on battery (Blade 15 base 2021) | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Today, when I have my laptop plugged in, the power supply seems to be causing a spike in CPU usage under "system interrupts." I've done all the basic trouble-shooting, tried disabling and enabling, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. Did a BIOS update.

I can tell that the CPU is high even without Task Manager because the fan is at full blast while it's on AC power regardless of what I'm doing or what battery setting I'm using.

My battery won't charge past "6 minutes to full charge". I fear there is an issue with my actual AC adapter not charging the battery properly any longer.

Any suggestions for what to do, besides simply replacing the power adapter and hoping for the best?
