Install Win 10 over Win 11 model, no drivers (!), also, dual sided SSD? Noob, please help :) | Razer Insider

Hi! I have finally bought my first razer blade computer. The g-sync qhd 15" advanced model with Nvidia 3070.

I specifically chose the win 10 home model from the retailer I ordered from.

I haven't opened it, because I can see on the outside it says win 11.

There are many reasons why I have no intention of touching Windows 11 for at least another 2 years, but I guess we are all different so I hope that doesn't bother anyone here.. it's just a personal choice as I have a ridiculous amount of retro software that I have ALL gotten to work on Win 10, and I know what I need to do for each and every piece of software for it to work. Plus, I am used to Win 10.

I was so excited and now I am down. The thing is, I just presumed I could go to razer homepage and download drivers, format the drive, and install my win 10 pro retail edition I just bought for this specific purpose (I have the Microsoft usb key to install).

But the razer homepage has exactly ZERO drivers for my model, and it says they will be available shortly after release, but this has been out for months already

I see that all current razer laptops are lacking drivers.

do I have to return it, is there no way around this? is there some way to get all the latest official drivers?

Is there some way to install Win 10 and have it as if I just got it from the factory but simply with win 10 instead of 11? i.e all the same drivers and included software?

secondly, I have a spare 2TB nvme SSD here.. but it's dual sided. I could save the original 1TB drive with windows 11 and just put it away and put this new drive in its place and do a completely fresh install, BUT, I am not sure if the laptop can accommodate ssd with chips on both sides (they are a bit thicker so the connector has to be slightly raised and not flush with the laptop if the drive is to fit).. Many laptops can, many cant, which is again why I am desperate for help before I go opening the thing up.

If there's no easy way to do this, I guess I just won't open it and ask for a refund. What can I say, or hopefully, they do actually have a win 10 model to replace it with.

Bummed for now, but thank you so much for reading my long message and thank you so much in advance for any help. oh, the model is

Been doing a lot more research since the post, and sorry for the one bump, this is the only time I will do it.

I have the dual sided SSD question answered, that the top slot can fit one but not the bottom, that's fine by me.

I have been reading that synapse will download all the drivers for one's laptop.

So is it really that easy? I just format, install win 10 pro, connect to net, install synapse and then it will download all the latest drivers, everything I need?

Can anyone confirm? That would really make life easy and if that's all I need to do, you can go ahead and close this topic.

It seems Razer is different in that they have all their drivers officially as part of windows update which I am guessing is why they don't need to provide them for individual download.

Geez I hope I'm right and that's all I have to do.. I'll open the laptop today if that's the case.

Cheers
