My Razer Deathadder v2 x Hyperspeed is drifting across my screen and not responding

My mouse, as listed in the title, is slowly drifting across my screen and doesn’t respond to ANY inputs. I can’t use my mouse at all and I have tried the following:

 

Cleaning my surface (Issue persists)

Trying a different surface (Issue persists)

plugging in the mouse into another PC (issue persists. So I know it’s in the mouse itself and not my PC.)

Tried resetting my mouse to factory default settings through holding down mouse button shortcuts I’ve googled but none have worked.

Cleaned the sensor (Issue persists)

Used a different mouse (Which is the one I’m using now and it’s working fine.)

Tried using the mouse with Razer Synapse closed (Issue persists)

Tried restarting my PC (Issue persists)

 

I couldn’t, however, find any firmware updates for my mouse, only the Standard Deathadder V2 (Non-hyperspeed) so I’m betting that’s the issue.

 

I’ve had my mouse since 14 May 2022. Not even a full year old yet.

 

There’s nothing else I could do other than buying the same mouse again because it’s my favourite mouse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would love to help. Based on the steps that you already tried, it’s highly likely that the mouse is defective. Share a copy of your receipt through PM so I can check its warranty and include the serial number for me to validate its model and kickstart a support ticket for a warranty claim. Thank you!

Hi there! i have also been facing this issue with my mouse, happened only since yesterday and i got my mouse only around September 2022. Thing was the mouse was working fine right before, only suddenly it starts having jittery movements and i can’t control it. Unfortunately i got the mouse from the official Razer flagship store on Shopee, would that still work?
