Razer Blade 15 Advanced bricked after 3 days of use

Hello everyone :smile_:.

I mirthless laughter but frankly it's funny .

I bought and received 3 days ago a Razer Blade 15 Advanced, a computer that costs more than 2k euros.

Everything is going well or almost, recharging in Thunderbolt 3 at 100w does not seem to work correctly, but it's not serious (considering the price it would have been cool if it worked but next is worse).

I say to myself, well I will update the firmware, so that everything will be good I will be able to start working on it (and also have a little fun in games).

So I download and run "Razer Blade 15 BIOS Updater", computer plugged in, +50% battery, and BSOD during BIOS update.

¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, it happens, Windows, we all know .

After the BSOD, the computer restarts and ... nothing, black screen.

I restart it, I try to let the power button be pressed for 30 seconds with the computer plugged into AC but nothing.

The fans spin, the keyboard lights up in all colors, but nothing.

It's dead after 3 days.

I am shocked, how in 2022 is it possible to sell products that are not crash resilient during an firmware update :mad_:?

(╬ ಠ益ಠ)

It's basic, realy basic.

Razer sells itself as a premium brand, for gamers but your computers can't resist an update failure :mad_:?

And what's more, your computers are only guaranteed for one year ?

Does that mean that if I have this problem in a year, no RMA for me and I should buy a new one :mad_:?

Advice to anyone reading this board, DO NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE IF YOU ARE OUT OF WARRANTY , these computers is poorly designed and does not resist an update problem.
